I Cannot Leave Here, I Cannot Stay, Forever Haunted, More Than Afraid

Caitlyn sniffled as she stood on her brother's doorstep. It seemed like forever since she'd seen him last, and she wasn't expecting this to be the circumstances under which she'd see him again. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

Mike answered the door muttering curses the whole way. His foot ball team was tied and it waas there ball, Mike wanted to see the end of the game. "Hell-freakin-low." Mike yelled before he realized who he was yelling at.

"M-Mike?" Caitlyn asked softly, not daring to look her brother in the eye.

"Caitlyn!" Mike pulled her into a hug. "God, i've missed you!"

Caitlyn hugged Mike in return, but didn't say a word, tears still rolling down her cheeks.

"Gosh!" Mike picked Caitlyn up and spun her around. "Im so happy to see you."

Caitlyn faked a smile. "Yeah....me too....."

"Come on now, Caitlyn. Don't you have a real smile for you big brother?" Mike kissed her cheek.

"They.....they threw me out Mike..." Caitlyn sniffled.

Mike stoped for a moment before it dawned on him. "Oh, Caitlyn." Mike held her tightly. "Does that mean you want to come home, well my home which is your to if you want it." Mike knew Jeff wouldn't mind. "Your home wheree people love you?"

"Please," Caitlyn sniffled. "I don't wanna be alone anymore......."

"Shhhhhhh, Caitlyn. You know you can always come to me. Your big brother will take care of you.; Mie assured as he led her into his, Jeff's and Hailey's house, the football game that had been so immpotrant only minutes ago forgoten.

Caitlyn nodded, gripping the locket her girlfriend had given her as she walked trough the house.

"Jeff!" Mike called out. "Guess who came to vist!" Mike held onto his siter tightly.

Caitlyn smiled when Jeff came into view. "Well, hello there," Jeff smiled, been a while. Caitlyn nodded. "Yeah it has, she smiled a little.

Mike beamed at both of them. "Yeah, you know Jeff but..." Mike ran off to get his daughter and bring her back. "Have you met Hailey!" Mike exlaimed, craddling his daughter in his arms.

Hailey snuggled close to Mike, looking back and forth between the stranger in the room and her father. "Daddy, who dat?" Hailey asked.

"That, my beatuiful baby, is Aunt Caitlyn." Mike nodded to himself.

Hailey nodded and smiled at Caitlyn who smiled back.

"Want to hold her?" Mike questioned, whispering in Haileys ear. "Is that okay baby?"

Hailey looked at Mike. "Daddy stay?" Hailey asked. She didn't like strangers too much.

"I'll be right here, baby." Mike soothed.

Hailey nodded lowly and looked over at a smiling Caitlyn. "O-Otay," Hailey said softly.

Miike handed Hailey off the Caitlyn and stood beside Jeff, linking hands with his husband.

Caitlyn smiled at Hailey, running a hand over her hair. Jeff smiled widely and kissed the back of Mike's hand.
