Just A Number..

As usual, Rick woke up. He could just sense when Kevin was upset.
"Baby what's the matter?" He yawned.

Kevin cursed himself and simply closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep. He was tired anyways....

"Honey I'm not stupid, you were awake two minutes ago." Rick sighed and kissed Kevin's cheek. "What's the matter?"

Kevin didn't know what he usually did in his sleep, usually he spoke but he stayed silent this time.

Rick sighed and stradled his waist, hovering over him.
"Baby, look at me and tell me whats wrong."

Kevin was trying so hard to keep a straight face and make him believe his was asleep. He didnt wanna admit what was wrong.

"You're an AWFUL fake sleeper, know that? I know what my baby looks like when he's sleeping. He makes the most adorable face. Sometimes he says my name. And his face is never that expressionless."

Kevin wanted to groan but he settled with trying to pretend Rick woke him up by hurting his legs.
"Rick, gett off my legs...."
They did hurt.

"Sorry, but don't think that got you out of it. I know you were awake." Rick said as he rolled off of his lover.

"Rick go away, I just dont feel good and cant go back to sleep. You can now go to sleep."
Kevin sighed.

"You're also an awful liar." Rick hummed, smirking.

"Please go to bed Rick." Kevin looked over at him. "My ass hurts I dont have time to talk."

"Kevin since when do we hide things from each other? I tell you everything and I thought you did the same.."

"Rick baby im just being childish. You shouldnt be bothered with it im fine. I dont wanna talk about it."

"Kevin, I want to talk to you about these things... please talk to me." He sighed.

Kevin sighed, pulled himself ontop of Rick's chest. He gave a soft smile to his lover.
"I had a dream....more like a nightmare."

"Oh baby." Rick frowned. "About what?" He knew his lover used to have nightmares about Quincy...

"Tonight it was you and Sydney."
He had a nightmare every night it seemed like.

"Baby.. what about me and Sydney?" Rick sighed. "Hun me and her are OVER."

Kevin frowned.
"Thats why its one of my nightmares. It takes my worst fears and experiences and makes me live them."

"Oh honey. Well it's never gonna happen in real life so don't worry." Rick coed

"Im just scared of it baby. I know its childish but you.....You mean EVERYTHING to me. You were my first kiss, my first time my first and only love...The father of my baby. And Sydney was your first time making love and your first love period..."

"Baby..." Rick frowned. "Yes, you're right she was. I won't lie to you. But you.... I can't even describe how I feel about you. It's SO much more than love, that doesnt' even describe it..."

"Your sweet baby. Very sweet and thank you for making me feel so special...."
Their was no way Rick's love rivaled his own.

"You deserve to feel special. You're amazing..." Rick said sweetly, kissing Kevin's lips.
