"NO!!!!!"
Kevin wailed. "You will n-not go and thats f-final!" He sniffled, trying to stop the tears.

Zac snarled, glaring at all three of them.
"Yes I am." He said firmly. "And you wonder why I tried to run away." He growled as he stormed up to his room.
Rick sighed, shaking his head as he comforted Kevin.

Kevin stared after him, hurt clear in his big blue eyes.
"L-Leave me alone Rick...." Kevin rolled himself away.

"Baby, don't be upset with me." Rick sighed following Kevin. "It's okay baby, we'll get through to him. He's just... he's just Zac." He frowned.

"Im not upset with you....I-I just wanna be left alone for a wh-while....."
He was so horrible that his baby wanted to leave...

"Baby, Zac loves you. I know he does." Rick sighed.

Zac was upstairs, sitting in bed. Once again, his face was red with anger. He was going out to talk to Quincy again whether his parents liked it or not...

Kevin shook his head.
"Rick stop...."

Mike stepped into the room and sat beside Zac, draping an arm across his shoulders.
"You know your wrong? He is trying to keep you safe sweetheart. That man hurt your momma and me and we know he is dangerous..."

"Baby c'mon. Don't be like that. Hun, you'll talk to him later and you guys will make up." Rick frowned softly.

"Well I don't like if he hurt you guys but he was.. nice to me. So why can't I see him?" Zac frowned

"Im not talking to him right now. Either go away or sit in my chair with me."

"Zac, he can't trust him baby. I used to....And then he raped me and got me pregnant." Mike rubbed his back. "We cannot risk that with you."

Rick lifted Kevin and sat down on the couch with his lover in his lap.

"He raped you?" Zac asked softly, looking up at his grandma.
He'd only known Quincy for a few minutes and yet he couldn't see him being so mean...

Kevin rested against his chest.
"A-Are we good parents?"

"Yes baby...Grandpa left me for a time and I was depressed. I got drunk and he raped me when I couldnt stop it. Now I have a baby that your grandpa hates and im not allowed to see. He was rough and he was cruel and he hurt your momma too."

"Course we are baby... Zac is just... I love him dearly but he's stubborn. Doesn't listen like most kids do. Gets pissed at us easily. Guess Syd and Imade him bitter.." He sighed softly.

"How'd he hurt momma...?" Zac raised an eyebrow. He would bring this up tomorrow night when he snuck out to go see Quincy. He was already certain of that...

"Fucking....." He trailed off as he grumbled to himself about Sydney. He really did NOT like her and he had no doubt that his dad would be pissed at him for it.

Mike sighed.
"He molested him sweetheart. For a long time, your momma would be out alone and Quincy would catch him and do whatever he wanted."

Rick rubbed Kevin's back soothingly.
"It's alright baby. I don't mind if you wanna go off about it. I'm here."

Zac frowned deeply.
"Well now I'm upset about that. See you should let me go yell at him for it."

Kevin shook his head.
"You love her so I try not to..."

"Zac....Baby you see now why he was so upset when you wanted to go. He is scared and he is hurting and he is worried about you baby. So am I."

"Baby yeah, but I'm not IN love with her anymore. I'm IN love with you." He smiled softly.

"Well I can take care of myself. Don't be." Zac sighed.

"Still though..." He didnt like how much he hated his own sister.

"Zac....Dont do that, you cannot fight him off if he wanted to hurt you. And you need to straighten up. Your being cruel is what your being. I love you baby but thats the truth." Mike sighed and kissed his cheek.

"I love you baby. I really do. You're a wonderful mommy." He sighed, kissing Kevin sweetly.

"Ugh." Zac said simply. He didn't see how he was the cruel one. They were the ones who wouldn't let him go talk to this man who actually made him smile...

Kevin shook his head. "Thank you baby......"

"Hey now, Are you not happy here Zac? Your momma and daddy love you. They just want whats best for you and your being a brat. Do you really hate it here with us?"

"You're welcome hun, it's just the truth." He kissed the top of Kevin's head.

"If I'm such a brat why are you up here talking to me?" He sighed softly, staring out the window

"You remember that song you wrote for me?" Kevin snuggled into his chest.

"Because I love you. Do you still not get that? I love you baby and so does everyone else. Thats why when you are a stubbon brat when try and shrug it off. We love you...." Mike hugged him tightly.

"Course I do baby." He grinned softly. "Got it memorized."

Zac sighed and hugged his grandma tightly.
"I love you too memaw..."

Kevin grinned.
"I remember when you sang it to me..."

"Then why run away? You know you had your father crying? Your momma was in hysterics."

"So do I baby." Rick grinned softly, remembering back to that day.

"I'm sorry." Zac sighed. "Guess I wasn't thinking. I was just pissed and sick of people bossing me around."

"I love my song..." Kevin grinned at him, kissing his softly.

"They are your parents, what were they doing that was so bad that you wanted to leave?" Mike frowned.
