"N-Nothing." Mike hugged onto Alex tightly, wiping his eeys roughly.

"Im feeling okay I guess...What happened."
His hand found Davids.

"There is OBVIOUSLY something wrong honey. Who made you cry?"

"You died again hun. Heart gave out on you..." David frowned as he squeezed Dewayne's hand.

"Just forget it baby, im going to be fine. Ill be fine as long as I have you here with me to help."
He was a whore? A cunt?

Dewayne sighed.
"I died....My heart gave out?"
Probably swelled up and died.

"I can't forget it. I love you and I haven't seen you cry this hard in a while." Alex frowned.

"I think that's what happened. I couldn't really check it out when you were dead..."

Mike hadn't cried this hard in forever, this long in forever...

"Yeah, but ill die again before ANYONE touches me and tries to give me surgery." He sighed as he wrapped his arms around David's waist.

"Baby what happened? I want an answer now." Alex asked firmly still stroking his hair.

David would have smiled at him if he hadn't felt bad.
"I'm still sorry." He sighed and stroked his hair.

"I just had a fight with a friend is all. Nothing else, you dont even know them." Mike bit his lip.

"Im not made at you or anything. Its fine." He sat up and leaned against David, seeing how he wouls deal with that.

"I know all of your friends honey. And I will kick whoever's ass. Even if ti was Lane."

"You should be mad at me..." He gave a small smile as he laid an arm around Dewayne's waist. "But I'm glad you're not..."

"Lane had better not fucking come anywhere near me or my family. And just let it go..." Dustin had come to HIS house and done this.

"Morning yet?" He rested his head on David's chest, a small smile on his lips.

"I won't let it go Mike. Someone made you cry almost harder than I have. I won't stand for that."

"Yupp has been for a while." He smiled and paused before speaking again. "So... I don't think your mother likes me." He chuckled.

"Oh Alex.... No one can make me cry harder than you can." Mike sniffled and rested his head on Alex's shoulder.

"Momma is just being momma. I think he is fine....Does it matter what momma thinks?" He looked at him curiously.

"Well, I want to know who did this to you Mike. I need to at least hit them once."

"Well sure it does. But what do you mean does it matter?" David asked.

"N-No...I cant let you do that. Just....No Alex." He was tired of Alex having to take care of him.

"Well why does it matter?" He tilted his head, looking at David curiously.

"Mikey baby that is my job honey..." Alex sighed softly.

"Well he's your mother. And you're my... patient." He nodded. He refused to admit he might like this boy a bit...

"No, you shouldnt always have to sit here and take care of me and baby me everytime in upset."

He moved sat he was sitting beside David, not touching him at all.

David sighed.
"Dewayne... don't be upset please..." He could just tell. He laid an arm around his shoulder.s

"Yes I am...Im all yours and thats all that matters. Im okay, dont worry about me." He sighed, wiping his eyes.

"Why would I be upset?" He shrugged the arm off with a sigh.

"You are NOT okay baby..." Alex frowned deeply, holding him.

"I don't know... Dewayne but you are." David sighed

Mike just gave a small sob, roudly wiping his eyes.

"Im fine David, nothing is wrong and in not upset." He shook his head.

"Dewayne... I don't know why, but I don't treat all my patients like this..." He sighed and rested his chin on Dewayne's head.

"Yeah and your giving mixed signals, one minute you act like...well like you like me and the next im just a patient. Which one?" He sighed.

"I... I don't know. Dewayne, I feel like I do like you. I'm just... not quite ready... I don't pity myself often but it did hurt when that lover moved on so quickly. I'm trying not to like you cause I don't know you well and I don't know if you'll hurt me." He sighed, brushing hair out of his face.

Dewayne shrugged.
"I make no promises...But if your not willing to try you wont ever get anywhere. We can just be friends if you want. I never had that problem, I never lived so I never had a relationship like that."

"I've had a few... but I'd like to be friends with you Dewayne. I know I need to get over it but I'd still like to get to know you better before we start anything."

"Whatever you want. I guess I can come over if you want me too...Imma go see momma about where im living."
