Just A Number..

Zac frowned down at his mother.
"So...." He wondered, Quincy had seemed to know what he was doing tonight... had he ever had a sex slave?

He would have to ask to find out, Quincy was not going to bring it up if he didnt have too.

Zac bit his lip. He didn't know if he wanted to hear the answers.
"Did you used to... go to those places a lot?" He asked quietly.

"I went to that bar a good bit, I have gone to the auction several times just to have a look see. That hotel I have been there once but I was just protection. Imma bouncer." Quincy took another puff.

"So you like never had a.... sex slave?"
Had he ever been like those men he'd seen tonight? Had he ever beaten someone so horribly like that man had done to his mother?

"I have owned one, but I have never done like Joey and taken someone and did all that. Hell most people didnt want the one I had because when I sold him back he was not in bad condition. I took good care of him, Kindel was mine. I had him for some five years. I just got him because the night we were there he looked so....broken....I wanted to fix him and I did. Then they wanted him back and I had to give him up. I bought, I didnt sell, They just took him and threw money at me while I was over here panicking."

Zac gave a small smile.
He hadn't. He really was a good man at heart.
"Alright." He leaned up and pecked his cheek.

Quincy picked up a picture on his night stand and handed it to him.
"Thats Kindel."
He was a small man, about Kevin's size if not a litte smaller. He was grinned at the camera while he sat in Quincy's lap.

Zac smiled softly and nodded. He looked so sweet.
He simply grinned up at Quincy. He was really different. Zac had known this already but everything tonight had only given him more proof.

Quincy put the picture down before pulling Zac into his arms.
"I love you....I have changed I swear..."

"I know... If I wasn't sure before I am now..." Quincy could have done so many things tonight....
Could've taken his virginity.
Could've let his mother be beaten.
Could've let his mother stay a sex slave forever.
But he didn't.
He'd done a lot of things in the past. But that didn't matter anymore.

No, because Quincy loved Zac he spent all night going through bars to find his mother, spent all the money he saved up to buy Kevin back. He had played the part of a hero tonight.

"Yupp, I'm going to sound like a total chick. But you really are my hero." He sighed softly with a smile.

"Well then im glad to be your knight in shining armor. Anything for my princess." He grinned happily.

Zac giggled with a smile.
"I ain't a princess... I'm a prince."

"What ever you are your all mine." He chuckled, kissing his cheek as he noticed the sun was high in the sky by now.

"All yours." Zac agreed and sighed as he looked at the sun up in the sky. "Whenever I have to go... can you help me bring momma home?"

"Sure I can baby, anything you want. Now when do you need to go though?" Quincy kissed his cheek.

"I don't know... see, mom and dad were fighting so we werent' staying at home in the first place. I don't even know if dad will be there and I really don't feel like going home." He sighed soflty.
But Rick was home. He'd been waiting all night, wide awake, crying his eyes out, without even Biddy to comfort him anymore.
"Maybe I can take mom home and then come back out here if that's alright?"

"Yeah baby, thats fine. Wanna go now?"
He stood up, getting some of his clothes for the ever naked, beaten and bloody Kevin.

Zac nodded slowly.
"Yeah, sounds good. Maybe memaw can help him or something..." He doubted there was a way to help Kevin but still...

Quincy picked up the naked man before gently carrying him to the shower trying to wash him off.
Kevin was like a rag doll.

Zac frowned as he watched his mother so limp and almost dead looking...

Quincy hadn to hold him up with one hand and bathe him with the other.

Zac walked over and offered to help bathe his mother. After all Quincy had doneit was the least he could do.
