"Yeah..." Rick nodded, he knew Biddy talked to no one really but him.. and he loved that. Well he better say goodbye to it now...
"So now?"

"I guess now is as good a time as any..."
Biddy had been so happy...Even if his poor face was bruised up.

Rick nodded.
"What are you going to say?" Alex inquired.
"Y'know what I told you? Bout him liking me?"
"Yeah."
"I'm gonna use that against him.." Rick sighed. He hated this.
"I love you Rick..."Alex gave a sympathetic smile.
"I know." Rick bit his lip as he strolled into the kitchen.
"I got it." He said in a monotone voice, stepping in front of Biddy to take over watching the food.

Biddy grinned at him.
"Oh thanks, can I go play with Rick Jr?"
He paused at the tone of Rick's voice.
"Something wrong?"

Rick swallowed, refusing to look in Biddy's eyes. He took a deep breath. He was a very good actor when he needed to be...
"Nothing." A long pause in which he contemplated what to say. Should he add 'other than you?' or was that pushing it?
He cursed in his head. This was going to be hard...

"Ummm okay, but if you need me you know where I am." He winked before turning to bounce over to the fridge.

Rick turned and looked at him near the fridge.
Fat joke? Might be a nice way to start.
"You're eating again?" He asked, eyeing Biddy disgustedly.
He hadn't eaten since the rest of them had... It was a normal time to eat..
He hated this so much.

"Ummm....No suppers not ready, I was just getting a drink...Am I not allowed to eat? I think if I was hungry I have the right." He cocked his head to the side.

Rick snorted softly.
"Just wondering... you don't really NEED to eat anymore." He eyed Biddy's stomach, making it clear what he was hinting at, then looked back at the food as he finished cooking.

Biddy blinked.
"Oh really? Im so sorry Rick, don't be jealous of my body. You know I look good, you just wish you could eat like me and stay in such good shape." Biddy grinned softly, laughing lightly; trying to shake the nagging off.

Rick laughed.
"You? Good looking? Nice one Biddy, thanks I needed a laugh." He winked before turning back around

"No, not good looking, great looking, awesome looking bitch." Biddy's grin never faltered.

Neither did Rick's fake one.
"Ain't looking so awesome covered in all those bruises from your... 'lover'" He snorted.

Now that struck a never.
The small went down a notch.
"Rick....Come man we are playing thats going a little too far, dont make me bring up Kevin and his wheel chair."

Rick nodded to himself. Good. He was getting somewhere.
"Don't see why I should stop. First of all, who's playing? I'm speaking the damn truth. You're obviously retarded if you think Higgy loves you. I don't even know why you call him your lover. I mean c'mon, he hits you, cheats. Guess you just aren't good enough..."
Rick felt like a total bastard...
He was using all their talks to get under Biddy's skin...

Biddy's mouth moved but no words came out.
"R-Rick...Why would you say that? I mean I know you dont like him and all but why are you trying to hurt me?" Biddy asked softly.
It made his heart constrict painfully in his chest.
Not good enough....

Rick had never heard that tone in Biddy's voice...

He took several more breaths before turning to look at Biddy, his eyes dark.
"Everyone else seems to, why can't I?"
Those simple seven words... could cause so much pain, he knew...

"B-Because you are my brother in law! You said you loved me! You said you cared! Where in the fuck is this coming from?"
Biddy's eyes were bright with disbelief but shaded with pain.

Rick almost stopped. Almost apologized. Almost cried his eyes out and begged Biddy to forgive him.
But he couldn't.
He simplly let a chesire grin spread across his face.
"You DID believe it." He chuckled. "Kevin said you did. I just never thought someone could be so STUPID..."

Biddy's face completely fell, he looked like a heart broken, kicked puppy.
"Wh-What?" He stuttered. His brother...and Rick....Were against him...playing him as a fool right when he thought he finally had someone to help him...

Rick's grin fell, but only for a second.
He laughed, shaking his head.
"I just... WOW. I had no idea... I told Kev when I found out you had a crush on me. I found it amusing really. That you'd like someone so... just out of your league. So I told Kev, I told him I knew I could lead you on. I wasn't too sure but it worked." He chuckled. "So.. you really thought I liked you?" He tilted his head to the side as if he was talking to a five year old.

Biddy's bottom lip trembled.
"Th-That was private....R-Rick....Y-You.....How could you d-do that to me? Why would you be so c-cruel? Do I not have it b-bad enough for you? D-Do you hate me or something? D-Did you think it wasnt enough for my l-love to beat my ass? C-Cheat on me? For my father to be a drunken a-ass hole and know im only h-here as a biproduct of rape? Y-You have to make me feel like I had someone to help me....S-Some one to go to when I needed help? Th-Thats fucked up Rick it really is." Biddy simply looked broken, his dry eyes were wanting to mist.

Oh gosh... Rick couldn't take this for much longer.... He chewed his lip for a moment before the grin returned.
"You don't get it do you? NO ONE CARES. I'm nice to you out of PITY. Your dad, Alex? He hates you. You know he can't stand kids who aren't his. He lets you stay here out of PITY. The reason Mike asked you to move in in the first place was cause of PITY. Hell, Higgy puts up with your sorry ass out of PITY. All those nights we talked, I was doing that cause I felt bad, I knew how everyone REALLY felt about you. PITY PITY PITY, Biddy. That's all it is. All it ever was. That time I kissed you? Yupp, you guessed it PITY. All you are is a damn charity case."

Tears welled up in the usual bright blue eyes, Biddy's body trembled, his shoulders shook put the tears had yet to fall.
"F-Fuck you Rick...."
He wasn't even going to say it wasnt true, he had just prayed it wasn't, he was scared of that, being the charity case.
But he smiled, even though his eyes were full of tears that threated to fall.
"T-Thank you for the ch-charity then Rick...It was nice w-while it lasted...."
It was nice to have someone care....someone love him....
Even if it wasn't real.

Rick giggled like a child although he was wanting to bawl himself.
"Oh, what now Biddy? You gonna cry? Did I make poor Biddy sad?"
