"Wanna bet?" Hell he could go anywhere but he knew somewhere he could go that would make David leave and get his own ass beat.

"Dewayne, come down and I'll leave.... just please stay safe. I love you." David sighed, refusing to cry again.

Dewayne nodded, swinging down and landing on his feet.

David sighed and hugged him tightly. He pressed their lips together for a moment.
"Sorry, I couldnt go without doing that... Goodbye."

Yes, David was disappointed in him... it did make him a bit sick to his stomach that David could watch his own mother in so mch pain and not care. What if it was David in that situation? Could Dewayne just sit there and watch while David cried and screamed for Dewayne to hold him?

No, Dewayne left because he couldnt watch Chris like that and he would hate it for Daivd but he would not leave David alone to hurt, he couldnt. He loved David too much for that but he would not sit there and be downed like that.

Dewayne pulled back and trudged off, walking through the woods with his muddy and wet pillow alone with the shirt of the same condition.

David sighed and walked back to his house, feeling utterly.... empty. Alone...
