When Crickets Cry...

"I know we are. He's so upset..." He wanted to hug Higgy, he knew it was okay then but he stopped.

Higgy sighed.
"You in love with him still?"

Brayden nodded.
"I haven't seen him in a while but I think I am.."

"Then baby....Go make him forgive you....Love him..." Higgy pecked his lips one more time before letting him go.

Brayden nodded and took Higgy's hand once more.
"I do love you too though Higgy. Thank you for taking care of me while he was gone." He smiled softly and walked back to Angel.

Angel was carrying on eight different conversations with his voices.
He sounded insane.
"But thats dumb?"
"I don't think so...."
"Maybe, its possible."
"Thats not nice."
"I...Maybe there was a good reason."
"No im not and no we can't."
"Is he?"
"No, but I am hungry."
It went on and on...

"Angel baby... can I please explain?" Brayden whispered softly.

Angel eyes him with a frown.
"Why? We shouldn't be together anyways...." He murmured.

"Because I love you. I hurt you and for that I'm very sorry..."

"I no longer trust you. Your the enemy." He hissed, glaring hatefully.

"Baby no... please no. I love you so much...." He sighed softly.

"Where do you get baby from anyways? You know me for maybe a week, I got taken away and you moved on. Im not your baby, im hardly even your brother."

"But I love you... and ask Higgy, hun. We both agreed it was a temporary thing, just to keep us satisfied til you were back.."

"That does not fix it....But im just a crazy kid, what do you and Higgy care? No one cares."

"HIggy and I DO care honey.." Brayden sighed softly "I swear I do.."

"G'way." Angel scooted away from him and glared, wanting to be left alone.

Brayden sighed and did as he was told, standing and leaving Angel alone.

Angel simply glared, cussing up a storm.
Colbie crossed her arms.
"When are we going home?"

"Now I guess honey." Zac nodded. "Hayden do you know where your daddy went?" He knew Hayden was attached at the hip to his father.
"Park. Tree." Hayden answered. He wasn't nearly as quiet as Gabriel but he was quieter than most of them.
Zac nodded.
"Imma take you guys home then imma go get your daddy. Colbie, I'm leaving you in charge while I'm gone."

Colbie grinned, looking over her sibling.
"Thats right, I rule." He giggled and got up, taking his hand and leading him out.

Zac took the children home, even Riley and Sean to get their things and he made his way out to the park.
"Quincy baby.... you there?" He called.

Quincy's body stiffened. He wiped his eyes and decided not to even bother answering. He didnt wanna talk to Zac.

Zac remembered that Hayden had said he was in the tree. He climbed and popped his head through, gasping at the tear streaks on his lover's face.
"Oh.. baby..."

Quincy shook his head, lifting his hand.
"Zac, go away." His voice was firm, cold...

"I can't. You know me. You're crying. I made you cry..." Zac shook his head with a pause. "I'm sorry baby, you know I don't think you're a monster... I needed to make you stop and I knew that would do the trick. You weren't thinkign. You HIT our baby. I let it go when you hit me but you hit my child. Hard. It' different when you're just popping them in the mouth or spanking them but that was hard." He sighed.
