When Crickets Cry...

"Zac, get the fuck away from me okay? Im a monster, I wouldnt wanna hit you again." He growled, hopping from his tree and stepping off, his broad shoulders straight.

"Hit me all you want, I don't care in case you haven't noticed." Zac sighed, hopping down and walking after him.

"Zac, back the fuck off. I hit you once, not that hard, its not like I abuse you. Yes I hate it and I feel like shit and all that but you need to back off me...now. Or im not coming home. Let me cool off."

"I never said you abuse me, ass." Zac muttered. "Whatever." He stormed off home.

And like he said, Quincy didn't come home that night.
He stayed with Quincy.

Zac normally would have had a fit but he was in the living room with his babies.
He wanted his fucking mother... but he stayed silent as Vikki attempted to help him.

Quinton was in final stages of pregnancy, sitting on the couch and holding his brother while he cried.

Matt was on the arm of the couch, frowning at the bawling man. He never thought he'd see his soon to be brother in law like that...

Quinton looked over at him and sighed.
"Babe, stop staring at him please."

"Sorry." Matt sighed, looking the other direction. "Just shocking is all." He patted Quincy's shoulder.

Quinton nodded.
"I know." He kissed the top of his brothers head as he sobbed.
Quincy jumped back, hiccuping and pointing at Quinton's stomach with wide eyes.
"IT KICKED ME!!!"

Matt slapped a hand over his mouth as he held back a snicker, grinning at Quincy and nodding as he rubbed Quinton's stomach.

This was the first it had kicked, Quinton was grinning like crazy as he cradled his belly.

"I'm sorry Quincy but I can't help myself." He knelt down and placed kisses on Quinton's stomach, stroking it before beaming up at Quinton.

Quinton grinned at him, stroking his hair.
"It tickled."

Matt grinned up at him.
"You're gonna be a great mommy..."

Quinton hummed, thinking about this.
He didn't feel like a momma...
He was the man.

Thats how it was before... but now Quinton was pregnant. Would Matt be mommy? Would the baby call him mom or dad? THis was confusing.

Quinton could be mommy, and the man at the same time. He really could.

Matt wasn't sure how but if you knew one thing about Quinton McDaniels, you knew that if he was set on something, he'd do it.

Quinton laid back on the couch, sighing softly but opening his arms for his brother again.

Matt smiled softly at his lvoer and hi brother.

Later on Quincy had fallen asleep on the couch. Quinton got up, hand on his back as he stood and waddled into the kitchen.

Matt stroked Quincy's hair once befpre following his lover into the kitchen

Quinton sat down and sighed.
"This is why.....I don't want him with a kid....A grown man would know better."
