When Crickets Cry...

Dustin rested his chin on Chris's shoulder.
"I fucking hate this...."

"Me too baby, me too... our baby's too young for this shit..."

Dustin sighed.
"I...Its not our fault Chris. At first I thought it was but no..."

"I know it isn't... I sorta feel like it could be somethin about me. I used to be a whore. But I was a top whore. If I was a bottom whore I woulda gotten pregnant that young." He frowned. "And no, I ain't callin our baby a whore. As far as I know he's only been with two people..."
But he was fourteen..

Dustin shook his head.
"I ought ta whip his fuckin ass."

Chris nodded in agreement.

"He aint too fucking old for meh to bend em over mah knee."He drawled in his thick southern accent.

Chris covered his mouth to muffle the giggle at the thickness of his fiance's accent.
"You're right and you can go do it if ya want."

"Ah want ta, an mayba he needs et." He looked towards the house with a glare.

Chris let a tiny snicker escape him as he pecked Dstin's cheek.
"I can't disagree with that. You can then, I agree." He nodded

Dustin thought hard.
"Ah think et would do more effect if ah jus ignore em."

"Probably." Chris sighed."But what happened when we ignored Dewayne? He left..."

"But ah'm ignoring him because im upset, we were just...to caught up to even remember Dewayne..."

Chris sighed and nodded.
"Whatever you think is best sweety."

Lance looked over at Riley, he hadn't stopped crying since his father left.
"DO you wanna come with me to my brother's place?" He asked.

Riley nodded, he draped a jacket over his lover and picked him up, carrying him like a child over to Davids.

Lance knocked and David opened the door only a moment later.
"Dewayne!" He called. "Lance is here! He's upset!"
Lance hiccuped as he told Riley to let him down.
"My legs work." He smiled softly.

Dewayne jogged down the stairs, grinning and hugging his little brother.
"Hey little bro."

Lance sniffled and gave a smile which faltered.
"Dewayne... can we talk?" He bit his lip.

Dewayne nodded, leading his up to his and David's room.
He sat down and grinned.
"Spill it."

"Well... I'm.... I'm pregnant." He bit his lip as he looked up at his older brother with terrified eyes.

Dewayne let it sink in, thinking hard.
"But.....Your......" He didn't know what to say.

"I know..." Lance nodded. "It's Riley's. Dad and Quincy threw a fit..."

Dewayne was stunned.
"Damnit, I WANT a baby and I cant get pregnant but you can? Fuck!" He tried to make light of the situation.

"Well trust me, I'd trade with ya if I could." He sighed.

"C'mon, if you want to I will take it. I wont mind...." He hugged his brother.
