When Crickets Cry...

Aaron sat down, pulling Zac close so he could protect him.
"Mom, I will really call daddy if he does anything."

"Please dont' Aaron... I'm seriously begging you. Don't..." He sighed as Mark came back in the room.
Mark came towards him and he edged away.
"What? I can't have a goodbye hug?"
Zac slowly stood and hugged him close.
"Your ass is mine. This isn't over." He hissed quietly so there was no way Aaron could hear. Then he let go, grabbed his bag and walked out the door.

Aaron hugged his mother and nodded.
"So im staying here for a while."

"If you really want to I'd like it..." He'd feel safer...

"Alright then, ill stay here, you dont have to beg." He rolled his eyes, chuckling at himself.

Zac smiled softly and laughed lightly.
"I don't wanna make you though.."

"Hell I offered, your not making me momma." He wanted to keep Zac safe.

"Okay... thank you sweety." He smiled and hugged him. He really did feel safe with Aaron.

Aaron and his father had something about them that made people feel safe. They were both big and strong, both loved Zac, both willing to fight for him.

And Zac loved them both. In different ways, but it was love... He sat back down, hand clutching Aaron's.
"Colbie thought we fucked." He chuckled randomly.

"Yeah, I know, I heard her." He shrugged. "Yet I am still a virgin, yay me." He shook his head sarcastically.

"You are?" He smiled softly. "Thats nothing to be ashamed of. I wish I would've waited longer." He nodded.

"I couldnt pay someone to touch the monster and the whores son." He shrugged.

Zac frowned.
"Baby... theres gonna be someone for you alright?"

Aaron didnt answer.
No there wouldnt be, no one normal.

"There is." He nodded. "I know there's someone for everyone..."

"Not for me momma." He stood up and stretched, yawning tiredly.

"There is. You just haven't found them yet." He nodded. Aaron was far too good to not have a lover.

"Sure momma, what ever you say." He wouldn't get a lover, he was sure, no doubt about it. No one even spoke to him outside the family, half the family didnt speak to him either. He was just isolated all the time with no one around to keep him company.

"Don't make me set you up on blind dates mister. Cause I will." He smirked.

"They would leave the first time they saw me momma." He knew they would. You would just be wasting your time."

"I don't see why... you're amazing. You really are, kid." He nodded.

Colbie came back into the room, she had listened a bit.
"Momma, we need to get him a date."

"I know we do Colbie." He nodded. "But he's being stubborn."

"So, he needs a blind date....what about Higgy?" She thought hard about them together.
