"C-Can I see him?" Angel choked out, wanting to hold the child one time...

"Of course precious..." He gave the baby to Angel. he was so beautiful..

Angel smiled, kissing the baby's head.
"Cade....." He held the child, staring at him, his eyes slowly closing, his head resting against the babies as he slipped away.

The child blinked at his mother, gumming his finger before Gabriel lifted him up again.

Mike smiled.
"Well Gabriel...You have your baby. He is healthy...." He nodded, kissing Angel's cheek as the boy flat lined. He turned the machine off and just sat, holding Angel's hand.

"Is.. how long is he gonna be out?" He asked.

"Kevin was gone for three months, he might never wake up, maybe a few days. No tellings."

Gabriel's heart constricted painfully but he nodded and didn't let it show as he held his baby to his chest.

Soon Mike left him, going to lay down, letting him have the child.

Gabriel lifted Angel and kissed him softly, hugging him before lying him back down with a sigh.

Angel was out for a long time, maybe two or three days, motionless, dead..

On the third day Gabriel gave up... he hadn't left Angel's side. He'd been trying not to cry but he stopped. He bawled. Bawled like he never had before. It was truly sad to see...

It seemed hopeless, Mike was getting ready to tell Gabriel and Zac he would never wake up when Angel took his first breath, his eye lids fluttering open.

Gabriel immediately sobbed of joy, covering his face and wiping his tears quickly. The small baby in his arms made a noise, hand already grabbing at its mother, but Gabriel pulled his hand back gently.

Angel swallowed hard, looking up at Gabriel and smiling.
"Your...crying....for...me?"
Gabriel cared...Gabriel missed him....

"Y-yeah... yeah I-I was." He nodded slowly, his words wavering, his voice cracking. He hated it so much.

Angel smiled, reaching a hand to take Gabriel's slowly bringing it up and kissing it.
"I feel so loved...."

"You are loved babe... I... missed you." He sighed.

"I missed you too..."
Angel reached for his baby, running a finger down its cheek.
"Gorgeous..."

The baby cooed and gave his mother a toothless grin, trying to get at Angel's finger.

Angel cooed back, looking at Gabriel.
"I love you....And our baby.....He looks like you..."
So adorable...

"He's so cute... I love him... so much.. and you.."

Angel beamed at him.
"Well Gabriel Johnson. You got a family. You better treat us right...him at least. ill be okay."

"I will. I'm gonna be the best daddy I can." He nodded firmly.

"I know Gabriel....I know." He nodded, smiling softly.
"I wanna go home..."
