"I know momma but you....Have other kids and a lover and all this to worry about. Im alright, ill be happy out there." He wanted to defend his family.

"Don't ever think you're less important than my other babies.. I love you just the same."

"But im not the same, im different and I cant be like Devin and just go out and forget. Im just going to leave and do something, Make a difference even if its just a small one." Titan turned over and closed his eyes.

Alex sighed and brushed hair out of his face, hugging him before closing his own eyes.

Dustin sat on the couch, talking to his brother Quinton on the phone about his son...

Devin listened in, worry shown on his own face. For once he was at home, not out at some club.

"Why though? He is just a child. He is going to get killed."
"I don't give a fuck, he is only a teenager!"
"And he is leaving so soon...."
"No,
I don't get to see him much and thats my fault. Mike is a bit...you
know...about me being around now and so I dont wanna make things worse
but yeah I miss him. If it were up to me they would both live here."
"Devin, but I still love Titan too."
"He wont come back alive..."
"In a fucking pine wood box!"
"I know...Im just...Im his daddy Quinton."

Devin massaged his temples and sat on the couch, doing something he hadnt done in a while... curling into his father's chest.

Dustin looked down, sighing and holding his son tightly and kissing his forehead.
"It'll be okay Dev, imma try and fix this..."

"You can't let him go dad..." He shook his head.

"I know baby, im trying, I really am but I cannot stop him. He is not mine. He is your momma's and according to Quinton its to late..."

"This isn't safe.. what the fuck is wrong with him?" He growled, slamming his fist down on the couch.

"Devin,,,I think he is just that lonely...." Dustin nodded, he knew his son didnt have many friends like his other son did....Titan was alone/

"So he goes off to war?! That makes no sense!" He was pissed and hurt... mostly hurt..

"It does. He....You are able to go out and have a good time. He is alone. He thinks he is unwanted and there is no one around for him....This is his way of committing suicide." Dustin explained gently.

Devin blinked and looked at his father incredulously.
"You're serious? No... no.. he can't. I won't let him."

"Devin baby....Maybe its for the best. I love him, God knows I do but he is miserable....He would be better off dead than in pain baby."

"N-no... god I'll help him. I'll be there for him. Just.. he can't die..'

"Devin sweet hear...t." Dustin held his son tight, rocking him back and forth.

"I will... if he just lives I'll visit all the time... I'll spend time with him..."

"He he is not some animal to look after Devin. He is a person." Dustin stood , his son in his arms and he walked him around, rocking him like a baby.

"I know but he feels alone.. I'll fix it... I will..." He nodded

"Okay babe, whateber makes you feel better about this." He shook his head.

Devin pushed him off and stood on his own feet, walking off and up to his bedroom silently.

Dustin sighed, calling Alex, wondering what his friend would say about their son.
