"No... No... I'll kill myself before I leave this house..." He didnt care if he was being a child...

"Then ill follow you or do it first so you wont have a reason to stay. You know what, no. Cade your going, thats final."

"No... No... I wont..." He would throw a tantrum...

"Cade....you never give me problems and I never ask for much. This time im not asking. Im telling you whats going to happen and you can tight me or you can make it easy on me and just go baby..."

"But i dont want to go..." He was only thirteen... he'd never had a real good family... and now he never would... he wanted his fucking mother.

"Cade! What do you want damnit! To live like this? This is no way for a thirteen year old to live, I wont let him hurt you anymore. Next time I swear....on my life....Ill move you away...to a good family...to my father if I need to because Gabriel cant get to him."

"I dont want to live like this momma but its too late too stop now... I can't leave you..."

"No its not, Im fixing it. I cant leave your daddy. Im not good for you. I cant have you always here with me baby....."

"Momma..." Cade sobbed hard. He hated being such a child but really thats what he was... he was stil a child...

Angel whimpered, hugging Cade tight,
"Damnit stop...baby..." He couldnt take this...his poor baby boy was crying...
"What if....If I let you stay you gotta promise me you wont try and protect me anymore. Ill make Gabriel stop hitting you and it will be alright but only if you promise."

"But momma... I need to protect you. YOu're my momma... its my job..."

"No its not, its a lovers job and I dont have that. Baby, I have to deal with the fact that my lover, wont ever propose to me. He wont ever do any of those sweet things most lovers do. He wont love me on any anniversary, or birthdays....or anything. I will get beatings to replace special events and cruel words instead of those sweet little kisses. But I got you and.....you are worth everything he has and ever will do to me. I had a man one time, he was perfect....Sometimes I wish you were his because he would be an amazing daddy.....But no, your father took me away from him, and its alright, thats my hardships. "I had someone like that.....I love him...But its over now. I have you and your father. I cant uproot and try for him, im fine here. I want you to swear....on my life you wont try to protect me."

"Momma... I can't... it comes naturally..." He frowned.

"You can and you will or we are going to pack your bags right now Cade and im not playing." He frowned at his baby.

"Momma no... I promise I'll try not to but it really is an instinct... sometimes I dont think about it...

"Cade...baby, swear....on my life or come help me pack your bags." Angel stood, going to pack already.

"No. I won't...." He shook his head.

"Ill do it alone. Be ready to go when im done." He picked up and phone and called his father, begging him to come help with Cade.
Quincy was there in minutes, waiting on his son.

Cade had handcuffed himself to the stair railing and put the key in his mouth. He refused to go.

Too bad the boy didnt know how strong Quincy was. Angel came out with Cade's things and sighed.
"Daddy..."
"Got it." Quincy tugged the cuffs like they were nothing, breaking them apart and yanking the boy over his shoulder.
"Lets get it on." Angel nodded, locking the door and following his father with the suit cases.

Cade cursed, pounding on Quincy's chest and back.
"Put me the hell down!"

Quincy shrugged it off.
"Cade....." His voice was low, his eyes more on Angel, walking with slumped shoulders, tears pouring from his eyes as he got ready to leave his baby.
"Shhh your upsetting your mother."

"He's upsetting me!" He shrieked. "I don't want to go!!"
