"Im just staring so...Can I come home with you?" He asked hopefully, clinging onto his friends arm.

"THat might not be a good idea..." He paused. He really wanted him to... his dad would never hit someone else's kid... "Okay. Yeah." He nodded.

Kelton grinned excitedly, pumping his fist in the air.
"Yes!!"
This was as childish he had been since meeting Cade.

Cade laughed, kissing his cheek and wrapping an arm around his waist.
"Wanna go now?"

"Oh yeah!" He nodded, grabbing a change of clothes and getting ready to go, he wanted to make a good first impression on Cade's parents.

Cade smiled as he watched, he just fixed his hair quickly, didn't take too much effort.

But Kelton straightened his and everything, he wanted to look good for Cade and his family, look nice...

"Hun we're not going to some fancy place. Its my house. Momma will most likely be beaten, dad will be.. just in a shirt and jeans. Its normal." He chuckled, smiling at his friend.

"Yeah but I wanna make a good impression! If I plan on sticking around I gotta make your parents like me!" By the time he was done he looked like he was ready for a fancy date.

"Daddy doesn't like anyone, momma likes everyone." He sighed, stroking his hair. "But you like really nice.."

Kelton smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Well maybe he will like me, you never know.."
He wanted him to so bad.

"I sure hope he does." He nodded with a smile as he led him off to his home.

Kelton held his hand lightly, humming as he walked along.
"Wrap your arms around me, I know, trying hard not to let go..."

Cade smiled softly as he knocked on the door to his home, praying it was his mother that opened the door.

And it was, Angel was beaten to hell in back, Gabriel had taken it out on him last night for Cade not coming home, plus Angel had demanded he not hurt his baby when he did come home so they were fighting and Angel still refused to let Gabriel hurt Cade.
"Hey sweetheart." Angel gave a tired smile.

Cade pulled him into a hug.
"Momma are you alright?"

Angel kissed his neck, smiling softly and nodding into his chest.
"Im alright baby, just a little banged up. Your father is not in a good mood." He paused softly. "Who's your friend baby.," Angel gave a knowing grin.

Cade smiled softly.
"This is Kelton..." He let his mother go and wrapped an arm around Kelton's waist again. "He's Chris and Dustin's son..."

"Oh yeah...He looks nice." Angel grinned at his son, waving at Kelton

Cade nodded with a smile.
"Umm... is daddy upset?"

"Yes baby, he is but im dealing with him and I don't want you two fighting, to fight you will go through me first and thats final." Angel let them in, going to sit on Gabriel's lap, ready to fight for his baby.

Cade sighed heavily. Every time this happened he had to leave and go to his grandparent's house. He didn't like it.
"Momma please just let me..." He frowned at his mother as his father glared.

"You hush and play with your friend, I got your daddy." Angel smiled, looking back at Gabriel and sighing.
"Please...If your mad hit me, not him....not now."

"He's done wrong this time damnit. Any normal kid would even get a spanking for this." He growled lowly.
"He's right." Cade nodded.

"Gabriel baby, yes he was wrong, but doesn't he get enough BEATINGS as it is?" Angel shook his head. "You wont hit him or I swear to god..."
