He Will Be Loved

"Oh my gosh... I don't think I've ever seen something that adorable..." Rick grinned widely, cooing to the baby

Kevin cleared his throat, stepping into the room and brushing by them, Jr in one hand and a bottle in the other.

Rick sighed, face falling as he gave Biddy Austin with a small sympathetic fake smile. He stepped over to Kevin and hugged him around the waist.

Biddy rolled his eyes taking Austin and kissing his cheek.
"C'mon, lets go see if papa Blake will play with you." He stood and bounced up the stairs.
Kevin said nothing as he fed Rick Jr, the baby grinned and made small noises.

Rick frowned lightly but quickly shook his head, going back to normal as he kissed Kevin's temple.

Kevin pulled away from him. He cradled Jr to his chest as the child refused the bottle and smiled at Rick.
"Daaaaaa" It cooed softly.

Rick grinned at him.
"Hi baby." He cooed, caressing its cheek. He then turned to Kevin. "Baby..."

"Don't." He snapped as Rick Jr grinned at his mother. He was a year old now, not that big but he was bigger than Austin.

Rick sighed, shaking his head.
"Kevin, babe we gotta talk..."

"Talk." He sighed as he rocked Jr around, bouncing on the ball of his feet.

"I know he's too young to understand but I need to talk to you Alone."

Kevin sighed, sitting Jr in his play pen in the living room, leaving him a few toys.
"What is it Rick?" He walked back in the kitchen.

"Kevin... I've been being distant with Austin for you... I know it hurts you." He sighed. "But I can't do that... the baby needs his daddy around. Just because Biddy and I aren't a couple doesn't mean that baby can't have a normal life... I want to tuck him in at night, play ball with him when he's older. I want to be a good daddy to him, as I try to be with Zac and Jr... would you let me?"

Kevin looked away, his jaw clenched as his insides froze. He knew this was coming....
Rick made sure he would stay before changing it all up on him...
"Whatever Rick."
He swallowed hard as he turned on his heel and quickly made his way to his fathers room.

Rick followed.
"Kevin. Baby please..." He sighed softly.

"I said whatever Rick. Watch Jr if your not to busy but if you are just tell me and ill go get him. He is the only one that actually MINE." He slammed the door.

Rick sighed, shaking his head as he got Jr from his crib. He cradled him in his arms as he walked upstairs to Biddy and Blake's room.

Austin was in Blake's arms as Biddy leaned his head on Blake's shoulder, giggling at his baby.

"Hi..." Rick smiled softly as he stepped in. "Can Jr play with Austin." He asked, smiling at his brother in law.

Biddy nodded, kissing Blake's cheek.
"Take a break, he likes you so he is going to bother you all day."

Blake grinned at the small child.
"Well I love kids. Don't have one of my own sadly but this'll do." He chuckled.
Rick pretended to laugh with him...

"I think he will be soon enough, he needs a day time daddy." Biddy giggled As Austin tugged on Blake's ear.

"Then here I am." Blake grinned as he cradled Austin to his chest.

Jr drooled on his father, giggling at his baby brother when the smaller child pulled on Blake's nose.

Rick tried to push off that gnawing feeling as he smiled at Jr.
Blake spoke in a nasally tone as Austin held onto his nose.
"Kid has a strong grip..."
