He paused.
"I missed you too."
He was still missing him.

"Are you still mad at me?" He stepped closer.

"Very much." He nodded, walking into the kitchen.

Ezra sighed after him, ignoring the clenching of his heart. He had been fine when with Alex. Now all he could think of was Dewayne...

Dewayne had been thinking of nothing but Ezra for a long time now...

"Momma... are you ever going to forgive me?" he asked softly.

Dewayne shrugged at him.
He didnt know if he could.

"Momma please..." Ezra blinked. He was not used to being not loved and hugged always...

Wayne and Dayton sure as hell were.
"Look...You hurt me...I dont know baby..."

"I'm so sorry momma.... I didn't mean to hurt you..." He sighed.

He sounded SO sorry.
"Thank you baby."

Ezra sighed, hanging his head and walking off to his room silently.

Dewayne laid down on the couch, watching as Dayton left with some big dude.

Ezra sighed softly, curled up on his bed.
He missed gushing with his mother... before he'd had sex, if he would have been with Alex for a whole month Dewayne would be in here with him, bouncing around the room..

Yes he would, he just needed a good apology, that boy had hurt him, he could have at least talked to him about it after all his momma had done for him.

Ezra was not at the point where he would apologize as much as Dewayne wanted him to. But the day would come...

And Dewayne was simply waiting for it. Sure it was hard but he knew his son.

It didn't come though, not for almost four months...
It was Ezra and Alex's one year anniversary. Alex had said he would be over that night. Ezra had told his parents he was going out but really he set up a picnic out on the grass somewhere. He had taken his father's grill out and began cooking. He even cooked REAL meat for Alex. Something he refused to do. He didn't touch meat but this was an exception...
He cooked a wonderful meal. Burgers, salad, pasta salad. He had gotten Kyndal to get him some nice wine since he was over twenty one and could buy alcohol. He had everything all set up on a picnic blanket out on the grass under the stars. It was so sweet... He texted Alex, telling him how to get to the area where he was and then he waited... he waited... and waited... and waited.

And Alex never showed up. He was with October and his kids at soccer game. He couldn't text the boy to tell him where he was or anything. So around eleven after the game and the kids and October were in bed, he snuck and out and sent a text.
Sorry.Family Soccer game. Couldnet be there. Ill make it up.

Ezra looked down at his phone, sniffling softly.
By now the food was cold... well what was left of it after a stray dog had eaten most of the burgers despite Ezra repeatedly hitting the dog with his jacket. Ezra was freezing from sitting outside waiting all this time.
His plan was fucking ruined. With the mood he was in, the signature only upset him more. He screeched and snapped the phone shut after checking the time. It was already after midnight...
Their anniversary was fucking over. And he hadn't spent one second with Alex...

Alex sighed softly, getting back into bed with October cuddling his chest.
He felt horrible...

Ezra cleaned up, tears strolling down his cheeks as he made his way home. He snuck in the house, sobbing softly as he curled up on his bed, feeling just... sick.

Dewayne peeked his head in, glancing at Ezra and shaking his head.
He close the door as he walked off to check on the other two babies.

Ezra sobs were quiet but really the only sound in the otherwise silent house. Soon he had cried himself to sleep.

The next morning no more word had come from Alex, he was busy with October again.
