Vanillia Twilight

A small smile made it's way onto Jeff's worry filled features. "You'll be able to sleep soon," Jeff murmured, cleaning Mike up.

"About that, where am I sleeping?" Mike questioned, his face hurt and he was tired. That made him a grouchy bitch.

"Anywhere you want," Jeff answered. He wanted Mike to come sleep in their room, but he didn't want him to feel like he had to.

"Where do YOU want me?" Mike wanted to be with Jeff but he wasn't pushing is luck.

"In our room," Jeff answered honestly. "If you don't want to, I understand." He was really hoping Mike would say yes, he missed Mike being in his arms.

Mike gave a lop sided grin. "I was hoping you would say that." Mike hummed happily, he would feel much better having Jeff's strong arms around him, protecting him.

"Of course I'd say that Mikey," Jeff smiled. He cupped Mike's cheek, rubbing it gently with his thumb. "I love you, I'll always love you."

Mike bit his lip. It hurt him to hear that but it also made him feel safe, happy, like he had something to live for. Mike was not going to bring up the thing with Hailey again, he is sure he would lose. Mike faked a smile but his words were true. "I love you too...forever and always."

Jeff smiled, throwing the washcloth he'd used to clean Mike up into the dirty clothes hamper. "Ready for bed?" Jeff asked.

"You just don't know how ready I am." Mike sighed and stood up, the bed sounded heavenly. "I missed you."

Jeff smiled. "I missed you too darlin," Jeff drawled softly. "I really missed you."

"Well then come on, sleep is not fun with out you, I remember that much." Mike grinned and headed to the bed room stopping when he got to the door. His face blank.

Jeff smiled following him. "What is it?" Jeff asked when he saw the look on Mike's face.

"I......I remembered how to get here.....I remember you carrying me in here on what seems like......our wedding day?" Mike cocked his head to the side trying to remember more but it came in a flash and it was gone as soon as it came.

Jeff nodded. "You're right," Jeff said. "I did carry you in here on our wedding day." Jeff smiled at the memory.

"I bet it was nice." Mike mussed, he want to remember so badly, but he mind simply wouldn't do it.

"You'll remember it someday Mikey," Jeff said. "I know you will."

Mike doubted that, he really did and he didn't know why. "Oh, well..." Mike trailed off sitting down on the bed and then letting the rest of his body fall back.

Jeff sat down on the edge of the bed with him. He had to believe Mike was going to get his memory back. He just had to.

Mike yawned. "What makes you so sure I will ever remember things?" Mike asked,because not matter how hard he tried he couldn't.

"Because you want to," Jeff said simply. "You're stubborn, when you wanna do something you're going to do it, no matter the cost."

'Im stubborn?" Mike had never really though himself as stubborn...of he thinks he hadn't.

"As an old mule," Jeff chuckled. "There's no talking you out of things you're set on."

Mike grinned. "Were we happy?" Mike asked, wondering if his stubbornness was a bad thing to Jeff.

"We had our ups and downs like every couple does, but we always got closer because of it," Jeff replied. "I'm just as stubborn as you are."
