Stuck Like Glue

Wade didn't answer again, just sat back and planted his feet firmly on the ground for emphasis.

Chris called a nurse in and told her he wanted Wade out of the room and the nurse turned to Wade. "Sir, im sorry but you need to leave."

Wade gave the nurse a toothy grin, turning on the charm full blast.
"Miss, I don't think he 'ought to be trusted without me. He's been having suicidal thoughts and I seem to be the only one capable of talking him off the edge." Wade smiled.

The nurse raised her brow at Chris. "He is the reason Im suicidal in the first place, and there is nothing I could do in here." Chris reasoned. The nurse turned back to Wade, "Sir, he is right, we put him in here because it was safe."

"Chris, please let me stay. I won't talk to you. I'll just sit here." Wade begged, turning back to Chris.

"Your precence bothers me Wade." Chris said as he turned is head away from Wade and the nurse.

Wade sighed. He stood and placed a kiss on top of Chris's head.

Wade slowly walked out the door. He made sure to take his time so Chris could protest if he changed his mind.

Chris groaned, he wanted to be alone but since Wade probably wouldn't see him again he should give him a bit. Plus maybe he would make Chris hate life even more.

Wade bit hard down on his bottom lip as he took his last step out the door.
"I love you Chris." He whispered.

"Wade." Chris said right before Wade was all the way out the door. "Come back....." Chris sighed, defeated. "Im sorry ma'me, let him stay." The nrse smiled and nodded, walking out but not before telling Chris to press the button if he needed her.

Wade beamed before walking back in and sitting down.
"Thank you."

Chris 'humped' crossed his arms and turned away from Wade.

"You want me to talk or not?" Wade asked, willing to do anything if Chris would let him stay.

"What ever you want Wade, it don't matter to me anymore." Chris shrugged him off.

"Well I'll shut up. But just know, I really do care about you."

"Wade we have been over this." Chris sighed, he wanted to believe Wade so bad.

"I know. Just want you to remember."

Chris felt tears sting his eyes, he didn't want to cry but he couldnt help it.

"Chris, honey, oh, don't cry." Wade said, quite shocked.

"Leave me alone." Chris hated how his voice cracked when he spoke. Chris harshly wiped his eyes but the tears kept comming.

"Chrissy..." Wade sighed, immediately regretting using the nickname.

That made Chris cry harder. Chris hid his face in his pillow and sobbed.

"Ch-chris..." Wade started. "Please don't cry... calm down sweety." Wade stammered, not knowing how to react to this.
