Stuck Like Glue

They ficed Chris up and put him in ICU. They let Wade back to see him and said Chris would be awake soon.

Wade plopped down in the chair beside Chris in his bed.
He sighed of relief. Chris was going to be okay. Then hopefully, Chris would let him fix things.
Wade took Chris's hand in both of his.

Chris's eyes's flickered behind there eyes lids. Chris swallowed and moved his thumb, rubbing one of Wade's hands.

Wade smiled widely.
"Chris, you in there?"

Chris let out a small pained groan. "You saved me didn't you....." Chris said without opening his eyes. It was more of a state ment, not a question.

"You bet I fuckin' did." Wade said. "Chris don't you scare me like that again."

"None of your damn buisness what I do." Chris growled, pulling his hand away with as much force as he could muster.

"It is when I'm right there. Do you have any clue how bad it hurt, seeing you like that?"

"I didn't ask you to be there, I tried to keep you from seeing it but your stubborn ass wouldt let up and I was and I am dead set."

"I'm not going to let you." Wade said firmly.

"You can't stop me.....and I left my damn watch too." Chris grouched, sliding one eye open so it was half lidded.

Wade's expression softened.
"Chris, I don't want to argue with you. But I can't let you kill yourself."

"You don't have a choice, what I do is none of your buisness, you made sure opf that when you walked out on me Barrett."

"Chris I am so... incredibly sorry. I hated myself for what I did. And now I feel like I've been given another chance."

"If you were going to be sorry about it you wouldn't have dont it in the first place. I don't want anyones pitty."

Wade didn't respond, he just sat there. He didn't plan on leaving any time soon.

"Wade, I am not somebody's door mat. I will not be used as a one night stand and then dumped. I trusted you."

"I'm apologizing, doesn't that count for something?" Wade asked, hopefully. But he knew nothing could make up for what he'd done.

"Soory does not erase the pain, or the hurt I felt because of what you did. Sorry, wont make up for it Wade."

"Okay." Wade said blankly, laying back in the chair. He planned on staying by Chris's side 24/7.

"Ummm you can go now." Chris said it as if he were explaining it to a 3 year old.

"Nah." Wade said simply.

"Wade," Chris said camly. "You leave or Ill have you removed by force."

"I'll tell them your not stable. You aren't thinking clearly. You just attempted suicide, who do you think they'll listen to?"

"Wade, I may have tried to kill myself, but I am thinkikng clearly. I am the Chris Jericho, you are a lowly member of Nexus."
