Love The Way You Lie

"Baby, I promise." Wade frowned, kissing Chris's forehead. He didn't like when his lover was upset.

"I know, its fine Wade." Chris shrugged, he was going to be killed if he didn't break up with Wade he just couldn't.

"You still look upset." Wade frowned. "C'mon let's get back to the hotel."

Chris was quiet the whole car ride to the hotel and even after they got to the hotel he was silet, they had thretened to hurt Wade, and Chris couldn't allow that. "Wade, we need to talk." Chris said quietly, this would be one of the worst days of his life.

"Umm... alright. Talk baby." Wade sat down on the bed, gesturing to the spot beside him.

Chris sat down beside Wade. "I think.....we need a break." Chris felt like he could throw up.

"I... like... what... huh?" Wade didn't understand. What was Chris doing? They'd been getting along so well.

"This...isn't working out Wade." Chris's stomach fell in on its self and he felt his insides freeze over.

"O-oh." Wade stammered. He blinked away tears. "Okay." He quickly looked away as he lost control. He couldn't hold the tears back anymore and they poured down his cheeks.

Chris's heart broke, he wanted to reach out and hold Wade. Tell him he was so sorry and he didn't mean it but he couldn't. Chris got up and packed his things, Chris walked out the door with a soft, unheard I love you.

Wade buried his face in the pillow and let muffled, sobs escape his lips.
What had he done?

Nexus cought up to Chris while he was walking to his new room, Cena trailed behind them,not liking what was going on. They pushed Chris against the wall, Davil had a knife pressed against his rib cage. "Did you do it?"
"Yes." Chris answered.
"Good." David let the knife sink into Chris's body. Chris gave a startled gasp as the knife penatraited him. John stared wided eyed, they were going to kill him. "Guys, he broke up with him." John exclaimed.
"He wasn't fast enough," David threw Chris to the ground and kicked him. John ran to find Wade, he couldnt let Chris die. David and the rest of Nexus left Chris alone on the floor, bleeding to death.
Cena banged on Wade's door. "Wade!" He hollered.

"What John?" Wade grumbled with bloodshot eyes as he opened the door.

"Look, I know Chris broke up with you but he had to, David and the rest of the guys were thretening to kill him, he still wouldn't but david said he would hurt you so Chris did break up with you and I think David just killed him." John explained quickly.

It took a minute for all this to sink in.
"Where is he?!" Wade shouted frantically.

John took Wade by the arm and ran to where Chris was still laying on the floor, a puddle of his own blood surounding him.

Wade let out a strangled yelp at the sight.
He immediately lifted Chris and ran to the car. He practically threw Chris in the passengers seat and sped to the hospital without saying another word to John.

Chris blinked his eyes open, his gaze hazy. "W-Wade.." Chris as far as he could see was dying. "I love you."

Wade's vision was blurred with tears as they got Chris a room. "I love you too."

They got Chris settled in and stablized, they had to do some surgery and gave him 50 stiches, he was in intensive care. The doctor told Wade to go see him if Wade wanted to.

Wade walked in, small smile appearing as it sunk in. It was looking like Chris was make it. He was so tired of near death experiences.
"Chris, why didn't ya tell me?" He shook his head although he knew Chris probably couldn't hear.

"Said they would hurt you...." Chris mumbled, he didn't understand anything but he knew who's voice it was, he was mumbling whatever swam around in his head.

"I can take care of myself honey." Wade took Chris's hand, placing a light kiss on the back of it.

Chris quieted down, he was tired and all he felt was pain in his side.

"Baby, get some rest. you really need it." Wade said, kissing the top of Chris's head.
