The next night, Alex had spent all afternoon cooking a nice dinner for all of them. Everyone arrived, Daffy, Alex Jr, Mike, and Sydney. Just as he was finished setting the table the doorbell rang.
"Oh Mike I forgot to mention, you don't mind that I invited a friend over right?"

Mike shook his head. "Of coarse I don't mind."
Daffy looked up suspiciously, and Alex Jr followed his uncles unhappy gaze.
He knew, something was not right with the way his uncle was looking.

Alex smiled and opened the door.
Sure enough, there was Chris.
"Sup, A-Ri?" Chris smirked, and Alex pulled him into a hug that lasted a second longer than really necessary.

Daffy now knew he didn't like whatever this was. He sent a worried look to Mike who didnt seem like he was paying attention, listening to his daughter talk. Alex Jr looked A Daffy.
"Daffy, whats wrong?" He asked, Daffy never looked this....bothered.
"Its nothing Alex, dont worry about it."
Alex knew better than to push the subject.

"Aren't you going to introduce me?" Chris smirked.
"Right, Chris, this is Mike, my husband, Alex Jr. and Sydney, my kids and Daffy, a friend." Alex gestured to each of them in turn. "Guys, this is Chris. We used to be friends in high school."
"Real good friends." Chris chuckled, earning him a look from Alex. Everyone in the room knew what he meant by that.

Mike sighed and shook his head, he would have to deal with it. Daffy narrowed his eyes, so that was his game. Daffy decided two could play at this, he was never one to let someone walk all over Mike and if Alex wanted to play he was ready for it. Daffy grinned.
"Oh yeah, me and Mike were really good friends when we were younger to."

"Yeah, Mike guess ya could say that Chris is my Daffy." Alex chuckled. "We were pretty much inseperable from the time we were born. Just grew apart after high school." They'd stopped talking after Chris took his virginity but he'd find a better time to let that slip later.

"Oh really." Daffy grinned. "How long were you guys together. "I popped Mikey's cherry and I was around for 7 more years." Daffy was pissed, he did not like this. Mike elbowed him and whispered in his ear. Daffy rolled his eyes and shrugged him off.

Alex shook his head incredulously. Did Daffy really want to play this way?
"Sorta the other way around with us. Erm... Chris popped mine." Alex chuckled and Chris winked.
Alex hadn't really wanted to say that in front of Mike but if Mike didn't like it he only had Daffy to blame. Chris was the only man he'd ever let top him.

"Oh Yeah, I bet that was special." Daffy looked at Mike who a viably tensed up. Alex didn't know half as much as he did. He didn't know that the first to propose was him, then he got drafted and refused keep it just in case; he didn't want Mike to be a widower at that age. Or the first time Mike had been pregnant, that kid was Daffy's. Mike had only been nineteen or twenty, the kid was steel born...he didn't want to bring that up though, he knew how bad that hurt.

This wasn't going nearly as well as Alex had planned. Fucking Daffy.
"I popped Mike's cherry." Those four words were driving him insane, replaying over and over in his head like a broken record.

"Yeah, me and Mike had the whole romantic lovely kind of thing. We had three song's" Daffy laughed, and grinned at Mike. "I wrote one, he wrote one, we got one off the radio...did I tell you Mikey, someone heard my song and wanted to sign me?" Mike looked over at him. "Really? The one you wrote for me?" Daffy nodded. "I'll take you for a ride on my big green tractor we can go slow or make it go faster as long as im with you, it really dont matter. Climb up in my lap and drive if you want to, boy you know you got, me to hold on to we can go to town, but baby if you'd rather ill take you for a ride on my big green tractor," Daffy finished, laughing. Mike smiled and rolled his eyes. "You are an idiot, but a good artist."
"I know." Daffy raised his brow at Alex. Even though Mike was being distant with him for Alex, Daffy was not letting him push Mike without being pushed back, if he would stop so would Daffy.

Alex's fist clenched under the table as he sat down beside Chris.
"Popped Mike's cherry, popped mike's cherry, popped Mike's cherry." He was barely listening to the conversation around them those words were getting to him fast.
"I'll be right back." He said with a smile. He wasn't going to give Daffy the satisfaction of seeing him cry. He stood and walked to the bathroom.

Daffy let out a sigh and then he stopped, he went back to being normal. Mike got up to follow him. "Alex," Mike called softly as he knocked on the bathroom door.

"Baby, I'll be out in a sec." Alex called, thanking his lucky stars that he could keep his voice normal.

"Are you okay Alex?" Mike asked, he didn't want to push his lover and make it worse.

Alex opened the door a crack and pulled Mike in.
"You gotta know how bad he was hurting me Mike." He said. "And please do not tell me I started it. He flirts with you 24/7 and I can't give an old friend a hug without him starting that shit?" Alex said calmly.

"Do you want me to tell him to leave baby? I will..." Mike didn't like how this was hurting Alex. Even though his stomach churned at seeing them together.

"Yes. But I don't want him to know that he's getting to me. I will NOT give him the satisfaction. Baby, cover your ears if you gotta. The gloves are comin' off." Alex said.

"Alex please, you wont be hurting him, I promise the only person you will bother is me." Mike sighed. "You do what you need to, ill tell him to leave."

"No, do not tell him to leave. He already thinks I'm in hear crying my eyes out." Alex stated firmly.

Mike shook his head. He knew that was NOT what Daffy was thinking. Mike walked don't of the bathroom and sat down beside Daffy and his son.

As Alex sat back down by Chris the slightly younger man looked over at him.
Chris had quickly caught on to the tension between Alex and Daffy and he wanted to help.
"Hey since we're talkin bout songs, ya remember that song I wrote for ya?" Chris asked.
Alex was confused at first. He and Chris had had a strictly one night fling. But he quickly saw what Chris was doing.
"How could I forget?" He played along.

Mike shook his head, Daffy tried not to scoff. "Id love to hear it, why dont you sing it for us? When your done maybe I can talk Mike into singing his song for me. Or we could call Critter like we did that one night and not get a damn thing finished." Mike put a hand over his mouth and snorted. "That was the weirdest night I have ever spent. And it was all your fault."
"You loved it, it was fun and Critter was hilarious." Mike shook his head, the night had not been sexual, Critter came over to help with a song and the night was spent at an amusement park."
"So how about that song?" Daffy looked at Alex expectantly.

"Alright." Chris smiled, he'd been prepared for this.
