"Usually, he says he loves you so, so much and he is sorry about all the trouble he causes you." She shrugged. "I feel bad for you sometimes, he make it sound miserable to with him." She smiled. "But he says he wouldn't be able to do anything without you." She nodded.

These words brought tears to Alex's eyes.
"I wouldn't be able to do anything without him either."

"Good." She nodded vigorously. "He was so upset the other night because you choose Chris over him and you were leaving him and..." She shook her head. "And who is Chris He left a hand print across uncle Mikey's face and I dont like that."

"Well we don't gotta worry about Chris doin that ever again. He's gone now. I made him go back home."

"Are you going to leave Uncle Mikey?" he questioned, it was none of her business but she wanted to know.

"Of course I'm not gonna. I love uncle Mikey more than anything in the whole world.

"I-Is he going to leave you? He was crying about it earlier, said he was scared and didn't know what to do and he felt so alone...but if he did leave he wanted daddy to take care of you." She pouted. "Where is Uncle Mikey going?"

"No where. I'm not gonna let him leave sweety." Alex shook his head.

"B-But he said he could help it, said there was nothing no one could do...he was sick."

"Uncle Mikey's getting sicker because he won't take his medicine. But now I think I can get him to take it again."

"How? He thinks you and Chris are together now. He doesn't want to stay." She was a small child and she was repeating what she heard.

"Well Chris and I aren't. And I'll tell him that I made Chris go home. All I can do is hope that he'll take his medicine.

"Ill miss him if he does go away." She mussed, he uncle Mikey was always so sweet and loving.

"I'll miss him too." Alex sighed. He hated talking abbout this.

"He said he was going to...hummm hail? heal?.....hell?" She was almost sure thats what he said.

Alex sighed.
"He's not gonna go to hell baby."

"The why did he say he was?" She was curious but soon a doctor walked up to Critter and pointed back into the rooms before leaving. Critter walked over to Alex and gently took his little girl back and held her tight. "Alex.....im so sorry."

"Not your fault Critter." Alex sighed.

"Do you want to go hold it before they call the morgue?" He asked, Mike had a steel born.

Alex nodded, roughly wiping away tears. He refused tol cry right now.

Critter patted Alex's shoulder. "I won't say its okay because its not...atleast right now. But Mike is alive if that helps any. And its okay to cry at the loss of a child."

Alex let out a shaky breath, resting his head on Critter's shoulder for a moment. When he lifted it again his face was tear streaked.

"Look if you need me for a minute I can take Cameron home." Critter looked sympathetic. "I know you need help and Im here if you need me." Usually Critter would not say anything but this was someone Mike held dear.

"I-I'll be fine." Alex lied as they gave him the child to hold.

Critter set Cameron down. He put on arm around Alex's shoulders. "Boy, I have been through enough to know you are not fine."
