Critter hesitated, he didn't want to see weak infront of Alex but the pain was intense.

"C'mon darlin." Alex prodded. "I'm gonna give em to ya anyway." He chuckled.

"Its not that bad Alex, really its not..." He sighed, hit hurt like he didn't now what but he wouldn't let Alex know.

Alex asked the doctors to give him some pain medicine anyway. He couldn't have his lover hurting.

"You have issues with doing what I say dont you Alex?" He stuck his tongue out.

"Yes, yes I do. Because I know what's best for you." Alex smirked.

Mike stood at the door watching. He was happy that they were taking care of each other and he missed the dearly.

Alex found himself lost in Lane's eyes. He had thought he'd never move on from Mike. But he'd found love again. Mike was the love of his life. But he really did have strong feelings for Lane too.

"Alex boo, your staring at me." Critter smiled, his blue eyes dancing with happiness.

"Sorry." Alex felt a light blush creep up his neck and to his cheeks.

"Don't be sorry, its cute." Critter grinned at his lover. Mike walked closer and sat on the bed.

Alex would never admit it but he loved when Lane called him boo. He didn't know why he just loved. It made him feel like a kid, it made him blush.

Critter laughed, Alex had a blushing problem tonight and it was adorable and no the word had never come out of his mouth.

"Quit laughing at me." Alex pouted, turning away to hide his red face.

Critter reached an arm out and latched it around Alex's waist; pulling him back. "You know I love you and its not my fault your being cute Boo."

Alex only blushed brighter. He wished Lane would just quit calling him that. It made him act childish.

Critter lifted Alex's shirt a little and began peppering kissing on his abs. He was enjoying this.

"Quit it." Alex laughed. The kisses tickled. Now he knew how Mike had felt when he kissed the baby bump.

"Come on now Alex, why would I listen to you?" He asked before continuing his job at kissing Alex's stomach.

Truth was, Alex didn't want him to stop. This was the happiest he'd been tonight.

Critter stopped for a moment, trying to sit up. He wanted to sit up so he could put Alex in his lap but his back where they operated was just not wanting to allow that.

"baby, stay still. Just lay down." Alex cooed softly.

"I want to sit up." Critter hissed in pain as he felt the the wound open again. He sighed and stayed still for a moment before trying again.

"Baby stop you're hurting yourself. Give yourself time to heal." Alex cringed when Critter hissed.

"Im fine....I want to sit up." He looked over at Alex. "Its no fun laying down."
