"Woah Mike I just met her. I doubt she'll ever speak to her again. Let's worry about that when and if we come to it."

Mike shook his head. "She is after you...."
He knew this, he was not stupid.

"Well she's not gonna get me. I don't want a relationship right now." That was a lie. He'd love to have a girlfriend. Especially one as pretty and popular as Hannah but he doubted she really liked him.

"Whatever Drew, be looking for it." He sighed and jumped as he heard his name called and the sound of someone stomping up stairs.
"You need to go."

Drew's brow furrowed.
"Who's coming?" He asked.

Mike cursed and locked the door as smoene began beating on it. "Just go." He nudged Drew to the window.

"Mike this is a two story drop." Drew said incredulously, Mike's bedroom was on the second floor.

Mike sighed....he would have to face his father. "O-Okay.....Can you sneek out the front?"

Drew didn't know what was making Mike act like this. He sighed and took another look out the window. It seemed like a long way down but he knew it wasn't really.
"God you're lucky I care about you." He said, swinging a leg over the windowsill.
"Tomorrow we're talking about this." Drew swung his other leg over and dropped, quickly grabbing the ledge with his hands.
"That is, if this fall doesn't kill me." He chuckled and let go.

Mike clenched his eyes shut as the door was kicked in. He wasn't at school the next day.

Drew got worried when Mike wasn't in school the next day. So when the teacher asked someone to get all Mike's work together and bring it to him at home, Drew gladly volunteered.
After school he tentatively knocked on Mike's door.

Mike's mother answered the door.
"Hello?" She greeted quietly

"Um, I was supposed to bring Mike his schoolwork." Drew said quietly.

She took the work, thanked him and then quickly shut the door.

Drew stuck his foot inside before the door could shut.
"I'm supposed to explain a few things to him too." Drew lied. Everything he missed was just review stuff but he needed to see him.

"C-Can you come back later? He is......sick." She squeaked as he blocked the door.

"It'll only be a minute ma'am. Please?" Drew asked with a polite smile.

"I-I can't son, he is very ill." She said nervously, her hands trembled.

Drew nodded.
"Alright." And he left. After she closed the door he walked around the side of the house and climbed up a tree just outside Mike's window. Had he really missed that yesterday?
"Mike open the damn window!" He shouted from his spot on a branch.

Mike looked up but couldn't movie. He was in too much pain to move.

Drew knew this was taking a big chance but he was going to get in that room. He hopped off the branch and clutched onto the ledge for dear life. After making sure his grip wouldn't slip he reached a shaky hand up and slid open the window.

Mike watched as the window opened in horror. Drew couldn't see this, he just couldn't.

Drew climbed inside, he stood and dusted his shirt off.
He smiled, proud of himself. Then gasped in horror as he saw Mike.

Mike closed his eyes and prayed Drew would just leave and let it be.

No such luck. Drew darted to the bed and sat beside him.
"Mike what happened to you? No lies."
