"I-I fell out the window afte y-you left." He said weakly, avoiding Drew's eyes.

"You fell?" Drew raised a brow.

"Y-Yeah, I tried to see if y we still ther a-and I fell."
Mike did NOT like lying to Drew.

"Uh huh..." Drew said, not believing a word he said. "So I said we were going to talk about it today. Who was trying to get in the door?"

"Please not now Drew..." Mike whimpered, he was in so much pain and he couldn't take anymore.

"Mike I'm not stupid. i know something's not right here."

"J-Just leave it be for right now Drew." Mike was not in the mood for this.

"Whatever." Drew said. He didn't see why Mike couuldn't just tell him.

Mike sighed, he thought Drew was going to let it go and leave. Sure he would be alone but it was better than Drew knowing.

Drew laid down in the bed, draping an arm around Mike's shoulders.
"Anyone comes through that door and tries to hurt you will have to come through me. And I don't give a shit who it is I ain't going down without a fight."

"D-Drew, you don't even know me." Mike whispered. No one had ever cared or really tried to help.

"Exactly. And I'll never get the chance to get to know you if I let someone hurt ya now would I?"

Mike sighed, this would end badly. "Drew.....This is not one bit your problem to deal with."

"I know it's not. But it looks like it's about to be soon." Drew smirked as they heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

Mike closed is eyes as he waited for his father to come through the door and yell and hit him.

Drew stood in front of the door and placed his hands on his hips as the door was swung open.

The man stared at Drew an then looked over at his sorry excuse for a son.
"Damn faggot. You got one of your boyfriends to protect you.?"
He had found Mike's song book, read the song about Drew.
Mike thought he was just Bi. Mike wasn't gay he was Bi but it didn't matter to his father.

"Don't call him that." Drew's eyes narrowed as he rose to his full height. He was just about eye level with the man. He had no clue who it was. "He didn't ask me here either."

"Oh yeah, well get the fuck outa my house! Leave my faggot son alone to get what the fuck he deserves." The man snarled.

"I suggest you shut your dirty fucking mouth!" Drew snapped. "Quit calling him that!"

"He is a no good, cock sucking, pussy ass, little FAGGOT who takes it up the ass." The man growled.

Drew was fuming. He reached up and slapped the man across the face.
"Shut the fuck up."

The man slammed Drew up against the nearest wall and began banging his head into it as Mike screamed and tried to help only to have his father punch him in the jaw and send him flying back with a sickenng crack

Drew ignored the throbbing in his skull. He let no one hurt him this bad. He wiped the blood off of his forehead.
"YOU ASS! YOU GOT BLOOD IN MY HAIR!" Drew exclaimed and fired back with a kick to the man's gut.

The man fired another punch to Drew's face as he held his stomach.
