Misfit

"They have told me that I am....very badly hurt and need to be watched and taken care of for a while. I think they will keep me here, I dont have anyone else to take care of me."
He couldn't ask Drew to give up so much time.

"Ehem, must I sing the song again?" Drew laughed. "I'm here to take care of you."

"Drew, that would take up alot of your time."
He didn't think Drew needed this, not with foot ball starting back and school and everything else.

"Mike, when I'm in a relationship I put my entire heart and soul in. Some people see it as a turn off but I'm a very affectionate, clingy person. You are pretty much my life now."

Mike grinned. "Then take care of me. Cling to me, hold me, love me....whatever as long as your with me."

Drew smiled.
"You're going to regret saying that.."

"Nah, im a rather clingy person too....I just haven't had anybody that was worth clinging to."

"Now you do." Drew grinned and held him even closer if that was possible.

"I know....Am I staying in your room?" Mike would feel much safer in a room with Drew but he could see how that might be a little much.

"I want you to... but you dont have to if it'd make you uncomfortable."

"No I want to, i'll feel safer in a room with you.....what about your parents? What do they think about this?"

"I haven't really asked them yet. But I don't give a damn what they say. You're staying with me."

Mike's breath caught in his throat.
What is they say no?
He cant stay with them without there permission....he would have to go home.

"Mike don't worry baby. I mean it, I don't care what they saw. You are staying with me."

"Its there house. I can't be there without permission Drew."
Mike frowned.
"If they say no I will have to go home....."

"I won't let you." Drew crossed his arms firmly.

'What else will I do if they say no? Live on the streets?" He had no where else to go.

"You. Are. Living. With me." Drew said, there was no questioning it.

"Drew, that's you parents house. What will they say about you wanting me to live with you? If they say no then I wont have anywhere to go and you can't change that."

"If they say no I'll beat my father until he says yes." Drew was only half kidding.

"Drew....maybe I should just go home and save you the trouble."
He didn't want to though, he didn't ever want to see that place or that room or that man ever again.

"No. What part of you're living with me did you not understand? At least let me ask before you get all upset."

"Drew...I don't want to get my hopes up and then get them shot down." He held Drew's hand.

"Baby either way you're staying with me." Drew said softly.

"How Drew, your parents dont have to let me stay? How else am I going to be staying with you?"
