"If they say no I am moving out. They obviously don't care about me if they don't let you stay. I'll sell some of my pointless new clothing, get a job and I'll get a hotel room or something."

"D-Drew.....Y-You would do that for me? They are your family. This is your life."

"What did I say? You are my life now." Drew said as if this explained everything.

"Drew.....I love you, but what if something happens? What is God forbid, I die or we split up? Then what happens to you?"

"Then I'm alone. Mike I told you I'm putting everything into this. If it doesn't work out it's just cause of my own stupidity."

"What if its my fault?....." Mike asked quietly. His father had him thinking he was a screw up and nothing more.

"Mike stop worrying so much. We'll worry when and if we need to." Drew kissed his cheek softly.

Mike sighed but decided Drew was right and he wouldn't push the matter anymore.

Drew simply held Mike close and waited for any more doctors to come in.

Soon a doctor came in to change the bandages, giving Drew a good look of what the word 'Faggot' Looks like when it is carved into a teenage boys back.

Drew's eyes teared up again when he saw that. He sighed. Mike's father was a sick fucking bastard.

"Wh-What did he carve into my back?" He looked to Drew for an answer.

"Um... faggot." Drew looked down at his feet not wanting to see Mike's reaction to this.

Mike just closed his eyes and tried not to start crying, he really did...but it didn't work.

"Oh Mike... baby it's alright." Drew whispered.

"He fucking carved 'faggot' on my back! That shit is permanent!" he sobbed.

"I'll let you carve it on my back too. We'll match." Drew smiled trying to make light of the situation. But he was dead serious. If it'd make Mike feel even a little bit better he'd do it.

"N-No! I dont want to hurt you like this. This is torture." Mike could feel the glass sinking into his flesh all over again.

"I'm sure I could find someone to do it. Oh! We could go to a tattoo artist and make it all awesome." Drew chuckled.

Mike grew quiet. He didn't find this funny one bit. It hurt him that Drew did.

Drew sighed and kissed Mike's forehead.
"I'm sorry Mike. I'm just trying to make this seem less... awful. I'm trying to find something humorous about it but there's nothing." He shook his head.

"I don't want to stay in the hospital anymore...."
But he didn't want to go home.
And he didn't want Drew to have to move out.
He didn't want to move away with a foster family.

"Well hopefully they'll let ya out soon." Drew said.

"Drew........im only sixteen, they want to put me in a foster home or an orphanage."

"That is not gonna happen. Whenever they let you out I'm takin' ya straight to my house. I'll explain everything to my parents and I'm sure they'll let you stay."
