How You Remind Me

"Not really.." Alex shook his head and rested it on Critter's shoulder, inhaling the sweet masculine scent that was his fiance.

Critter wrapped an arm around his lover. "Are you okay Boo? I can't have been good."

"Yeah. I'll be fine. Just a bit upset." He looked up and pecked his cheek. "Let's just go home now."

Critter nodded and took his fiance home. He couldn't help but wonder if Mike hates him now.

"Baby... hold me?" Alex asked softly when they were home and lying in bed.

Critter wrapped Alex up in his strong arms and held him tightly, cooing sweet nothing in his ear.

"I love you Lane..." He trailed off as he thought of something. "Hmm... darlin, will I be Alex McCormick?"

"If that's okay with you." He looked down at his husband to be with a raised eye brow.

Alex smiled.
"It's more than okay with me... Lane Riley doesn't sound right anyway." He chuckled.

Critter kissed Alex softly and gazed at him with loving eyes. Alex was sharing his name....it was also Sarah's name. He didn't rightly care but he wondered if that bothered Alex.

Alex found himself very excited for the wedding. He hadn't been too keen at being the 'bottom' of the relationship. The small one, the 'girl', but he rather enjoyed it.
"Whatcha thinkin' bout?" Alex raised a brow at the way Critter was staring at him.

"What im always thinking about. Im thinking about you." He grinned at his 'bride' to be.

Alex smiled at the sweet words.
"God, I love you." He grinned. "Can we start planning the wedding like now?" Alex chuckled.

"Yeah, whatever you want Boo." He kissed the top of Alex's head.
"What colors?"
"Any certain people you want there?"
"Flavor of cake?"
"Other foods."

Alex laughed, tears of pure joy in his eyes.
"Baby, I don't care. You can pick all of it... but there's one person I really want there... I doubt he'll come though." Alex sighed.
"I want Alex Jr there."

Critter frowned, thinking about it. He didn't know what to do to get Alex Jr to come, or where he is period.

"I know I could probably find him... but even if I do. There's no way he'll come." Alex said. "I wanted Mike to come but I know it's not fair to make him do that. I know it'd hurt him."

"Yeah, but you never know Alex. Mike I know would sit through anything for you even if your not his anymore. He loves you Boo."

"I know he would if I asked... but I don't want to make him hurt like that. I wouldn't want to watch him and Daffy get married or anything..."

"Hell I almost did." Critter chuckled.
"They were funny together, Most of my childhood is Mike Daffy and Sarah." He smiled fondly. "I was there when Daffy proposed."

Alex felt that familiar knot tie in his stomach. Jealousy. Although he had no right to feel it anymore.
"Baby, god I'm sorry. Can we just not talk about him? That's still not my favorite subject." Alex sighed.

Critter smiled and kissed Alex's cheek.
"Jealous are we?"
He knew that no matter what Alex would always be that way with Mike.

Alex nodded sheepishly.
"You're lucky you don't talk much to any other men or women. You haven't seen that side of me yet." Alex chuckled. "Although I'm sure you've heard."

"Yeah, Mike usually called me when there was a problem."
Mike had been like his baby brother.....

"I guess I did get a bit overjealous... maybe a bit violent at times." Alex chuckled.
