Not Your Little Girl Anymore

Matt nodded and sighed he hated waiting but he knew it would be worth it

Jeff smiled. "I'm almost done bay, it won't be long," Jeff promised.

Matt smiled and hide a yawn he got up to make a pot of coffee

Jeff eyed Matt carefully, he could tell the older man was getting tired, but he wasn't going to mention it.

Matt watched as the the coffee slowly dripped into the pot he really didn't want to fall asleep

"You okay baby?" Jeff asked, sitting his notebook down momentarily.

"yeah i'm fine baby"lied Matt he didn't want to worry Jeff

Jeff knew better than that. He knew Matt better than the raven hair man thought. Matt's accent was thicker than it normally was, in a way it only got when he was tired. "Matthew," Jeff said simply. "Don't lie to me."

Matt sighed Jeff knew him almost better then himself "it's nothin baby"

"Mattie," Jeff said softly, getting up and making his way toward Matt. "It's never 'nothing' with you baby."

Matt poured himself a cup of coffee he couldn't tell Jeff about the nightmares "Jeff it's not imported" Matt said taking a drink

"Something's bothering you," Jeff said. "That's important to me."

Matt sighed and shook his head, he wouldn't tell Jeff about the nightmares

Jeff wrapped his arms around Matt's waist and looked at him. "Baby, don't hide things from me, you know I don't like that," Jeff murmured.

Matt sighed "Jeff please i don't want to talk about it"

"Fine," Jeff muttered. He pulled away from Matt and turned to walk away, pouting. "but I thought you loved me...."

Matt pulled Jeff back and said "i do love you baby"

Jeff shook his head. "If you loved me you wouldn't keep things from me," Jeff said.

Matt sighed "baby it's nothing just a few nightmares" he hoped Jeff wouldn't push

Jeff had an idea about what the nightmares were about. "About what he did to you?" Jeff asked.

Matt just nodded, every he shut his eyes he saw it happen all over again

"Darlin...." Jeff drawled softly. He wrapped his arms around Matt again. "Why didn't you tell me baby, why didn't you wake me up?"

Matt just shrugged "i didn't want to worry you"

Jeff sighed and shook his head. "You've got to stop doing that Mattie," Jeff said. "I'm supposed to worry about you."

Matt shook head "Jeff i'm made you worry way more then you should"
