Not Your Little Girl Anymore

Matt ducked the swing and punched Brad again "you will not talk about my daughter like that you sona bitch!"

Brad stumbled back, holding his jaw where Matt's fist connected. "Why don't you go home and suck off your baby brother?" Brad spat. "Fucking fag."

Matt growled and tackled Brad, he was going to kill the little shit, he punched at Brad again

Brad fumbled for the knife in his pocket. As soon as he had it in his hand he buried the blade in the left side of Matt's abdomen.

Matt gave a scream when he felt the blade enter him, he fell off Brad holding his side

Brad jumped on his Harley and sped off. His younger sister Paige ran to Matt's side. "Oh my god," Paige gasped.

Matt groaned in pain and said "call 911 please."

Paige nodded and called for an ambulance. While they waited she pressed her jacket to the wound, trying to stop the bleeding. "I'll stay with you til they get here," Paige said. "Do you want me to call Jeff?"

Matt nodded if he was going to die he wanted to see Jeff before he did

Paige nodded, dialing the all too familiar number. She explained the situation to Jeff and waited. Jeff arrived seconds after the ambulance pulled up. "Baby!" Jeff said worriedly, rushing to Matt's side.

"hey baby" said Matt softly, he was in a great deal of pain

Jeff took Matt's hand in his as he watched the paramedics lift the older man onto a stretcher. "You hurt him I'll kill you," Jeff glared at one of them.

Matt sighed "baby their not going to hurt me, their job is to help."

Jeff shook his head, getting into the back of the ambulance, still holding Matt's hand. "Look what kinda mess you got yourself into now," Jeff said. "I told you not to do anything stupid baby." Jeff wanted the cry, he wouldn't be able to take it if he lost Matt.

"sorry baby i didn't know he had a knife." answered Matt before moaning in pain

"Shhh shhh," Jeff murmured, stroking Matt's cheek gently. "You're gonna be alright you hear me?" Jeff said. "You're gonna be just fine."

"baby there's a big chance that i won't be" said Matt sadly

Jeff shook his head. "Mattie, don't you talk like that," Jeff said, his voice started to crack as he let a few tears fall. "I'm not gonna lose you, momma's not ready to deal with your stubborn ass again, not yet."

Matt smiled softly at Jeff and whispered "i love you baby" before falling unconscious

Jeff's green eyes widened in panic. "Mattie.....c'mon Mattie don't do this to me........c'mon baby wake up!" Jeff pleaded.

Matt moaned softly but didn't wake up. the paramedic quickly said "he's ok sir he's just unconscious"

Jeff nodded, stroking Matt's cheek. "You stay with me baby," Jeff murmured. "You hang in there."

Matt moaned again but didn't open his eyes

Jeff gently kissed the back of Matt's hand as the ambulance pulled up to the hospital.

Matt was quickly bought into the emergince room and sent stright into surgey
