I Dream Of Death

Mike sighed and cuddled up to Alex.
"My temple hurts..."
It throbbed and made everything look fuzzy and dark.

"I know it does baby." Alex shushed.

Mike couldn't help but feel hurt. After all they had been through Alex had loved Lane more and started over with him. This was a thought Mike would keep to himself

Alex sat and wondered what Lane was doing... he hoped it involved beating the shit out of a certain redneck piece of shit...

"Alex...... Tell me again why you hate Daffy so much?"
He didn't understand it. Daffy could apologize of the wedding and all but was it so bad? Mike had stopped it.

Alex sighed.
"I guess I... if you tell him this I swear I will-" Alex cut himself off he wouldn't really hurt Mike. He couldn't. "If you tell him what I am about to say I will be incredibly pissed at you."

"Why would I tell him anything? Why would I even talk to him anymore after this......And would you really hurt me?"

"That's why I stopped myself. I couldn't really hurt you... I'm just gonna be really upset.... I suppose I'm..." The words were painful to say. "I'm... jealous of him." He sighed.

Mike raised a delicate brown eye brow.
"Is he flirting with Critter?"

"No... he was your first. Your first everything." Alex sighed. "He means so much to you. And no matter what he does to me you never seemed to care." Alex shrugged. "Just forget it."

"Alex. We have stood out side and screamed and punched, and kicked each other over you. A lot of the time I wasn't around when he was messing with you because I was in my hospital room....I couldn't stand seeing you love someone else more than me. I have fought for you and I do care. I love you like I always have and always will. Not one thing can change that or make me love anything ore than I do you...."

"I love you too baby." Alex sighed. "It just upsets me that he just said all those things and hurt you... yet I know you'll forgive him within the next hour or two."

"Alex....he is all I have had since you got with Lane. If not for him I would have been all alone. I would have slipped through the crack...and fell ingot the back and I was but Daffy kept pulling me back..."

"Well just then it seems like he was trying to push you over the edge. I know i hurt you. A lot. But as soon as I see you cry or the hurt in your eyes. I stop. He just kept fucking with your emotions..." Alex sighed.

"He says its fun because im so fucked up and no one wants me...no one gives a damn but him so he should be able to do what he wants. I fought back occasionally but usually he won....knowing that what he said was true broke me."

"And he was your best friend growing up?" Alex snarled. "He is going to fucking pay for all that shit he said to you."

"He is still my bestfriend....When I am to blind to see something he knocks some sense into me...."
Daffy had quite literally been knocking something into him. There was no one to stop him though.

"I don't give a damn. If we were still living I'd kill him." Alex grumbled.

Mike sighed.
"You just worry about Lane and yourself. Im fine, im used to taking care of me....."

"No. He will pay for this Mike. I don't care if you don't want me to hurt your precious Daffy but I am."

"First off what had gotten you so pissed off again? Secondly he is not precious, he just keeps me form being completely alone. I can take the abuse, the pain and all the weird knifes and shit he play with while he does it but at least im not alone."

"Wait one damn second! Did you just say knives! And abuse! Has he fucking touched you Mike?!"

Mike flinched.
Yeah, Daffy had beat him, even rapped him when Mike was too weak to fight it. Mike was his bitch.
"N-No."
If he told he didn't want to think of what Daffy might do. He hadn't meant to let it slip.

"Son of a bitch." Alex muttered. He knew his former husband was lying. He gently rolled Mike off of him and followed where Lane had went, knowing Daffy would be there.

Mike cursed and ran up to Alex and hung onto his waist.
"Stop it Alex!"
He was scared Daffy might hurt Alex. He wasn't worried for Lane.
