I Dream Of Death

"Screw you." Alex muttered to Lane. "Some husband you are.." He knew he didn't mean that. Lane was the best husband anyone could ask for.

Lane got up and then he carefully picked Mike up. "Come on Alex, your shity husband wants to take Mike home.

Alex sighed and stood.
"Baby... I... you know i didn't mean that." He ran a hand through his hair.

"Yeah I know save it..." He answered quickly. He did know but he was hurt and he didnt feel like screwing with him.

Alex sighed. He'd fix it later somehow.

Mike whimpered. "L-Lane....Y-Your h-hurting m-me..."
Lane stopped quickly, changing positions. "Im sorry Mikey, Im just a little stressed, ill try to be more gentle."

Alex knew he couldn't scold Lane for an accident but he wanted to yell at him for hurting Mike.

"I-I.....L-Lane....I-I d-don't t-think y-you sh-should b-be c-carrying m-me....y-your h-hurt m-me."
Mike tried to walk, only to fall down again.

"Let me." Alex said softly, he knew how to carry his lover gently after having to do it so many times before.

Mike looked up at him with wary eyes. He didn't care anymore. "F-Fine."

Alex took his husband in his arms carefully, being sure not to hurt him.

Mike laid still, just letting Alex carry him. He didn't have anything to say.

"where are we going Lane?" Alex sighed softly.

"Sarah's, just follow me." Lane led the way, Mike giving a small whimper every now and then.

Alex followed Lane until they arrived at Sarah's. He found himself slightly upset with her too. She had let Daffy abuse Mike for all this time. He knew there was really nothing she could do but still.

Sarah had run and quickly tried to take Mike from Alex. She didn't like the fact that he didn't love Mike like he did Critter, because he hurt Mike more than Daffy ever could.

Alex held Mike out of her reach, giving her a stern look. It pretty much said 'dont you dare touch him'

"Don't look at me like that. Unlike you and Daffy I have yet to hurt him." She reached for him again.

"Let me hold him." Alex said, soft but sternly. He didn't like being rude to women.

Sarah huffed.
"Lane, your husband is unreasonable. Tell him he hurts Mike more then anyone ever could and he needs to let me see him."

Lane sighed. "Sarah baby, Mike is his to bother with. You can see him later."

"Thank you." Alex said to Lane. Sarah's words upset him. He wanted to stick his tongue out at her similar to a child but he refused to be that childish.

"Hold him while you can......"
He didn't know how much longer Mike could stand knowing who Alex loved more.

Alex sighed. But he nodded slowly, knowing this was true.

"Do you think there is anyways you can love him like you do me?"

"Baby can we please talk about this together, later, alone? I need to get all my feelings out in the open before I say anything to Mike or Sarah."
