I Dream Of Death

"No..." Alex couldn't seem to explain it. It made sense in his head, yet no one seemed to understand. Mike took what was his. The mark. And Critter took what was his. Mike. See, makes perfect sense, right?

"Alex....your confusing us all....Maybe you should have never got me back from Daffy."
Should have never given him false hope.

"So I was right? You don't want to be mine again." Alex's heart broke in two. "We saved you from Daffy but you still don't want to be mine. You want to be Lane's now. O-okay. I deserve this... I screwed up the day I let you go."

"Alex baby that's not it at all. I dont want to take Lane from you because apparently he means to much to you for that...Lane did make love to me and he was very sweet about it but I still love you and so does he. Your upset because your husband marked me too...im sure Daffy can mark over it...."
He wanted Alex to be happy.

"Mike, that can be fixed. Well, it could be. But Lane won't mark me again. The thing that is really upsetting me is that you are marked twice, both times as someone else's. Why do you keep avoiding the subject of me marking you? Don't you want to be mine?" Alex sighed.

"N-No.....I have asked you to mark me and you refused but if you want to mark me, how ever you want to do it then okay."

"If you don't mind I will. And if Lane would stop being an ass and mark me again, this would all be over."

"Okay, how do you wanna mark me?"
Mike didn't mind, he had already marked himself as Alex's long ago.

"I'm thinking. I don't want to hurt you too bad..." Alex frowned.

"Okay then, where should you mark me at?"
There was barley anywhere left that wasn't marred by scars already.

"Where hurts the most? I'll do it there, cause it already hurts. I don't want to mark somewhere that doesnt hurt and make it hurt."

Mike's heart what what hurt the most. It always ached and broke, it hurt him and it was so fucking fragile.
"My heart..."
Mike took Alex's hand and placed it over where his heart should be....but there was nothing to feel, his heart had stopped beating long ago.

"Oh.. Mikey." Alex frowned. "I love you." Alex got an idea. But he didn't want to hurt Mike that much.

"Any idea's? Any at all im fine with. I want this..."
He had wanted his for a very long time.

"Yes... but I don't want to hurt you..."

"Alex baby tell me....I have been hurt so much im sure it wont be so bad."

"It involves a knife, and I don't want to be like Daffy and carve shit into you."

"Alex get the knife and we can do it right now," Mike paused. "Hell I have a knife."
Mike pulled out a shiny, extremely sharp pocket knife from the night stand and handed it to Alex.

"Baby..." Alex grimaced, clenching his eyes shut as he carved a small heart over the spot where Mike's real one would be. Then he put a small letter A in the center. "Ugh, I hate this. I hate hurting you..."

Mike clenched his eyes shut as the blood ran over his chest, the feel of the knife slicing his skin was familiar and it hurt but he just reminded himself who was doing it.

"Baby I'm sorry." Alex frowned. "I'm so stupid..."

"Not your not Alex." Mike sighed and let his fingertips touch the blood. "Im okay...."

"I'm just stupid. I got so upset over all this petty shit.."

"Alex..its fine baby, we'll deal with it." Mike murmured as he picked up an old shirt and pressed it to the forming scar.

Alex felt his eyes fill with tears. What had he become? Was he really such a jealous, protective ass?
