Don't Know Why

Dolph nervously sat in the front seat, tentatively glancing at Randy. He was frightened.

"Randy," Jake started as he slid into the back.
"Thith it Dolph, my boyfriend."
Randy whiped his head around. "Your dating a whore? What if he has a disease?!"
Jake growled ad poped Randy in the back of the head. "You wait one damn minute, he ith NOT a whore and you will do well to watch how you talk to him. Thecondly he don't and if he did itth none of you damn buithness."
Randy argued with him a moment before turing around and seeing the pure rage in his bestfriends usually sweet, gentle eyes. Randy turned to Dolph and muttered a quick "Im sorry." Before driving off.

That hurt. Dolph knew he was a whore but still.
"Told you Jake.." He muttered.

Jake growled and pulled Dolph back agaist the seat so he could whisper in his ear. "Don't lithen to him. He ith retarded but I know whath good for me and what I want. I want you and think itth betht for you to be with me."

"But he's right Jake. What if I do have some disease? I very well could, you know that right?"

"Tho? Thatth why we're going to the hothpital,to get uth checked out."

"I'll kill myself if you got one.." Dolph sighed.

"No ya wont becauthe if I have one and you don't, ill leave all my perthonal thingth to you and you can make a life for youthelf."

"No Jake. I've already been contemplating suicide." Dolph sighed.

"Dolph....baby you can't do that to me......pleathe..." He felt tears.

"But Jake... I don't have any reason to live. Honestly." Dolph sighed.

"You have me.....and I thaved you, don't make that be in vaine." Jake pleaded.

"But what if the disease is life threatening? If you die, then I really have nothing to live for."

"Then live for my memory. Live fo me...Live tho I didnt die for thomething thupid."

Dolph sighed. He could not say no to that.
"Okay..."

Jake beamed at him as Randy arrived at the hospial and they were taken to be checked.

Dolph was scared. More scared than he had ever been in his life.

They brought Dolph's tests back first.
"Sir, you are clean."
And thirty minutes later Jake's came back.
"Sir we are sorry........"

Dolph sighed of relief when they brought back his results. If he didn't have one Jake surely wouldn't right? He'd bottomed way more than Jake had. Wrong.
His heart stopped when they brought back Jake's.

Jake swallowed hard. "What ith it an how long?"
"Aids and, years, months, weaks. No tellings"

"No!" Dolph exclaimed. No No No. He could not deal with this.

Jake sighed and wraped an arm around Dolph. He smiled at the doctor,he would be in soon for treatment options.
"Thhhhhhh Dolph calm down thweetheart."

"It's all my fucking fault. You... you're going to d-die." Dolph whispered.

"Itth okay Dolph, I thil have time and im not mad at you. I love you okay? I don't regret what I did."

"You should regret it... oh god randy is going to fucking murder m-me."
