"Last time you tried to protect me you were the one that needed protecting!" Mike hissed back.

That stung.
"Fuck you." He laughed bitterly, shaking his head and walked out the door. He didn't let the tears fall until he was safely outside.

Mike cursed as he told his boss he was taking a break.
He ran out after Drew.
"Drew, sweet heart please go home."

Drew quickly fisted away the tears.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" He snapped, taking longer strides.

"Drew, don't be like this....."
He hadn't meant to hurt him, he just wanted him to be away from that place.

"Oh, but I'm a baby remember? I can't protect myself." Drew growled, giving up on stopping the tears.

"Damnit, stop putting words in my mouth, I didnt call you a baby."
Drew was being childish though.

"I'm going home. Isn't that what you wanted?" Drew kept up his pace.

Mike growled.
"Fine then go home! Ill come get my shit later."
He was causing problems, he would leave and it would be fine.

"You're not leaving me..." Drew's face fell and softened.

"Why not? I can lave and you wont have to worry about following me to work or bothering with me anymore!" He yelled as he stomped back to the club.

How did this get turned around on him? He fucked up one time. Got drunk and raped one time and now he was seen as weak. He couldn't protect himself. Ugh. He snarled and kicked a large rock down the sidewalk.
"Hey, back for another round are ya?"
Drew's head snapped around at the eerily familiar voice behind him. The second they made eye contact he knew. This was the man who raped him. The man who caused all his problems. The asshole who was the reason Mike might be leaving.
"Get the fuck away from me."
The man simply laughed, taking a step closer. That laugh signaled something in Drew's brain. It brought back the memories from last night.
He felt the man forcing him to the ground, slamming into him. Saw Mike's face of horror. He heard his own pleas and whimpers. It sickened him. Never before had he sounded so weak...

Mike paused when he heard that voice, he turned and glared.
"You leave or I call security."
He did have his own body guard. His boss might be sleazy but each bartender was given one and he happened to be friends with his.

"No." Drew said. "I can deal with him myself Mike. Just go." Drew would not be helped. He needed to stand up to this man himself.
The man laughed again.
"You really sounded like you needed help last night. 'Mike it hurts! Oh Mike please make him stop!'" He mocked Drew's pleading from last night.
Drew was getting progressively more angry.
"Messing with me sober is really not a good idea." Drew growled.
"Oh really? Cause I bet I could do it again. Right now. And you couldn't do a damn thing to stop me."

Mike had already called his body guard. He was as big as Drew, he had grown up in the slums and not a person around who knew him did not fear him. "I think you need to go." He threatened.

Drew glared at Mike. He refused to be helped this time and if he was he was going to be very pissed at Mike for not letting him do this alone.
"Sir there's no need for you to be here. I appreciate the help but we're just having a conversation."

The man looked at Mike and and shook his head. "Stay, I dont want them left alone. You are not to leave them alone kay?" The man nodded and Mike went back to work.

Drew growled and stormed off. Back to the house and up to the bedroom. He and Mike were going to have a chat when he got home.

Mike was at work the rest of the night. The man had ran off after Drew left, he and the guard had a long talk.

Drew spent the rest of his night crying. HE figured he had to while no one was around.
However his mother heard him.
"Drewbie... what's wrong baby?" She called knocking on the door.
"N-nothing."
She was very worried. She had never heard him cry since he was a toddler.

When Mike came home he was tired, dirty, his shirt town, a new one on his arms, and he smelt like alcohol. He plopped down on the couch for ten minutes before getting up and collecting his things.

"Mike..." Drew's mother began, stepping into the room. "What's wrong with Drew? I feel like he doesn't talk to me about personal things anymore but he's worrying me. I just heard him crying up there and... he never cries." She sighed. Then she noticed his packed things.
"Oh... that explains it."

Mike sighed and put his head down.
"I don't think its because im leaving, he wants to come to work with me and I said he can't....We had a fight and im not welcome here anymore."

"Mike I know my son. And I know he loves you with all his heart. He wouldn't ask you to leave. I saw how he reacted last time you wanted to go. There's something I haven't been told about and I don't like it."

Mike wasn't telling.
"As far as im concered he wants me gone....So im gone."
