"Drew! Get your ass down here!" She shouted. "And you," She turned to Mike. "Please stay here. I'm going to get to the bottom of this."

"No, Mrs.Gallows every thing is fine. I dont mind leaving and he is upset right now."

Drew came bounding down the stairs, eyes bloodshot and his usually neat ponytail in a mess.
"What?" His voice was also hoarse.
"Mike, I've never told you what to do but according to the state I am in charge of you. That means that you will stay here at least while we sort everything out."

Mike narrowed his eyes. "Okay, fine ill be eighteen soon, or I can go now and say I dont wanna be here, I can also run away. If I want to leave im leaving and you can't MAKE me stay."

Drew saw the worry in his mother's eyes and assumed the worst.
"you TOLD her?!" He exclaimed.

Mike looked with wide eyes. He tried to cover up.
"Told her what? I got stiffed twice?"
He hoped Drew got the point to shut up.

Drew's eyes widened. That was close.
His mother curved a single, thin eyebrow.
"And wh-why are your things packed?" Drew's voice trembled.

"I told you I would come by to get my shit didn't I?" He shrugged. "But I forgot about the warden."

"M-mike... no.. don't leave me please." Drew begged. This was the most he'd ever groveled... other than last night. He needed Mike to help him right now didn't he see that?

Mike sighed. "Can we talk later?"
He didnt want to do this with his mother standing there.

"Depends, are you going to leave?" Drew asked, sinking to his knees.

His mouth droped.
"What are you doing on the floor? Drew get up."

"Begging you." Drew said simply, placing his hands together as if praying. Which he was.
His mother gasped. Her son had NEVER ever begged for forgiveness or anything else. He was very stubborn.
"I thought you said he wanted you to leave?"

"I-I....I thought he did."
Mike looked down at Drew with sad eyes.
"Drew....You dont beg, nothing is worth you begging.."

"Don't look like he does..." She said before leaving the room, giving them some alone time.
Drew placed his hands on Mike's calves.
"This is worth it. You are my everything Mike. If you leave..." He sighed, he couldn't go on.

"Drew baby.....Your just very upset."
Mike stroked Drew's cheek

"Don't leave me." Drew looked up at him and for the third time that day, tears poured down his cheeks.

"Drew baby stop crying."
Mike knelt down infront of Drew.
"Don't cry baby please."

"I wouldn't cry if everything I've ever loved wasn't about to walk out that door."

"Drew baby......"
The words made his heart ach....made him breathless.

Drew turned away, tears still falling.
"... you're not saying you'll stay..."

Mike just stuttered, he couldnt leave Drew. He loved him and apperently Drew loved him too.

"Was what I did so bad...? I... I was there for you when your father... you know... can't you stand by me this time?" Drew looked at him sadly.

Mike put a hand over his mouth, he was not leaving he just couldn't voice it right now so he simply hugged Drew.

Drew continued to cry but the silent tears turned into heavy sobs.
