Misfit

The doctors were hesitant but let him in the room.
"Mike!" Drew exclaimed. The doctors had had to calm Drew done just moments ago. He had been in hysterics because he needed Mike.

Mike ran to his fiances side and took on of his hands in both of his.
"Im here baby, Im here." He cooed softly.

"Mike... you don't want to stay. They're gonna cut me open. You don't need to watch." Drew whimpered. He was scared. This seldom happened but he was terrified.

"Shhhh baby im not leaving you alone. Imma be right here Drew." He kissed his loves cheek.

They made Mike back away slightly as they began the surgery. Drew whimpered and screamed out in pain. They gave him some anesthetics but not too much. They didn't know if it would hurt the child.

Mike watched with tears in his eyes as he stood there. There was no way Drew was ever allowed to be pregnant again.

The room was bustling with doctors and nurses all touching Drew, crowding him making sure his blood pressure was normal, checking his heart rate, making sure he would not faint from the pain and of course getting the small child out of his stomach.

Mike has eased up there with the doctors and after being told to back up three times he knelt down under the bed so he was not in there way. He then took Drew's hand.

Drew squeezed his hand tightly.
"M-mike.." He whimpered.

Mike let Drew squeeze his hand as tightly as he wanted. He cooed loving words to his fiance, he whispered sweet nothing as he kissed Drew's hand and hid under the bed.

"I see a head!" The doctor exclaimed. Drew fisted the sheets with one hand and squeezed Mike's with the other as eh felt the uncomfortable sensation of the child being removed from him.

Mike felt queasy as he sat there under the bed. He trembled as he listened to the doctors talk.

Soon, the pain stopped as they got the child out. Drew's expression immediately softened as he stared at the little girl that was extended to him.
"M-my baby..." He took her in his arms.

Mike stayed under the bed, he had let go of Drew's hand when they gave him the little girl but he was feeling sick after hearing and seeing that.

Drew's heart stopped when he looked into the baby's eyes. Those were not his eyes. Those were the cold, souless eyes of the man who raped him. He shuddered.
"Mike come see our baby..."

Mike slowly peeked at the baby as he stood up. It was heart breaking, you could tell the baby was his, it had those eyes. It stung now that he looked at it. The child was not his. But he had to be okay for his fiance so he put on a cheesy fake grin and cooed at the baby.

"Mike... you're upset." Drew sighed, frowning at his fiance.

Mike swallowed and took a deep breath, making sure the grin stayed in place.
"Why would I be upset? Shes beautiful."

"You're upset because she looks like him..." Drew said softly. "Mike, it's not too late for adoption. Just tell me."
Drew didn't want to give up his child but it was not fair to make her grow up in a household where she was not completely loved.

"No Drew, this is your baby. Im not making you give her away, shes beautiful."

"But you don't love her. You won't. And I can't make her grow up and feel like she's not wanted."

"Drew baby its not that I dont love her. Im just hurting and a bit upset. I can lover her, I can....She is yours so I can."

"I don't want to upset you. I'm sorry... I shouldn't have had her in the first place." Drew sighed.

"Drew." Mike said sharply. "No, this is your baby and we will raise it and love it, dont you think you should have done that."

"But it's hurting you... I don't want to hurt you Mike..." Drew frowned but couldn't help but smile as the little girl wrapped her hand around Drew's finger.
