Misfit

Matt smirked, toying with the scrap of paper in his hand.
Drew beamed when Mike came back. He held open his arms for a hug.
"Be careful, my stomach still hurts." He said softly.

Quinton went he did his job and then since he had no where to go and he didnt wanna go home, he found a nice little deserted park and he sat on a bench.

Mike took a deep breath, he did not want to be touched but he wouldnt deny Drew love. He gently hugged his boyfriend, he kissed his cheek and then stepped back and leaned against the wall.

Matt had chosen to sleep in a deserted park for the night, he had been curled up, almost asleep under a bench when someone sat down on it. He looked up and saw Quinton. He slid out from under it, revealing himself.
"Long time no see." He chuckled.

Drew frowned at his fiance.
"Mike...you're mad at me..." He sighed.

Quinton didnt jump or even react to him, he was focusing on the pain in his abdomen but he knew someone was there and he was ready to defend himself. It took him a moment but he did look over at Matt.
"Yeah, this where your beding down for the night?"
He wouldnt mind going home and not be aloine all night.

Mike shrugged, he had never really been mad at his fiance, and he was not going to stress Drew out right now.

"Looks like it." Matt shrugged.


"That's a yes." Drew sighed. "Mike I'm sorry but you don't want her... she's hurting you. And quite frankly it scared me the look in your eyes when you were holding her..."

Quinton didnt want to be alone tonight.
"Want company?"
He was used to sleeping in trenches.

"Drew," Mike growled. "You dont know what I do and dont want so dont go making decisions for me. If I want the kid gone ill tell you I want it gone and you dont know what I was thinking, I was not going to hurt that baby even if I did hate it, which I dont."

"Sure, if ya want to keep me company." Matt shrugged.

"Mike, I didn't think you would hurt her. I just did not like the look in your eyes... that wasn't my Mike." Drew sighed.

"Better than going home alone."
Quinton pulled out a small bottle of white pills and poped two in his mouth.
"You had supper yet?"

Mike had not been the same since Drew had been raped, he didnt cry as much, he could not be that sensitive. He worked long hours and because of stree he was easily pissed off but never pissed enough to ever hurt Drew or that baby.
"Drew, there is one Mike Mizanin and thats me, I dont know who you think I was but im Mike, I have been Mike and I always will be Mike."

Matt hopped off the ground and sat beside Quinton on top of the bench.
"Not unless you count some half eaten sandwich someone gave me out of pity." He chuckled.

"Mike you haven't been my Mike since I was raped... I want to fix it. I want to go back to being strong. You should not have to be. Now that I'm done being all hormonal I can be normal again so you can stop working, I can stop crying and we can raise this child together."

Quinton laughed. "Well, I just took my pills so im suposed to eat. WHy dont you let my buy you dinner?"

Mike shook his head.
"Im working, the baby needs you at home with it, your its mother."
/Im not even its real father./ Mike thought bitterly but shook his head. "Drew its fine, we are fine, we can still raise this kid together."

"I can't let ya do that. I don't like people spending money on me." Matt shook his head. "You go head and eat."

"I love you Mike. And I'm it's mother but you are it's father." That sounded so weird... Drew was never supposed to be a mother.

"Im not eating like that, im a gentleman and since your my company im obliged, im not taking no for an answer. If I eat you eat and I got to so your going to." Quinton winked and took Matt's hand, pulling up up from the bench and walking him to his truck.
"Wanna walk or take my truck?"

"I love you too Drew."
He was trying to make the anger die down but it was festering. They had almost lost that child, where did Drew get off? He says it is THEIR child, so why did Drew think he could give her away without Mikes say so?
Because Drew didnt think of Mike as the babys real father either.

Matt shook his head with a small laugh.
"i'll take the truck I guess.."

"Mike baby please... I know what you're thinking." Drew sighed.

Quinton grinned and opened the door for Matt.


"Then tell me Drew, what am I thinking?"
Drew could not read his mind.

Matt slowly slid into the car. It had been a while since he'd been in such a nice vehicle.

Drew sighed.
"You're upset because I tried to give her away without your consent. You think that I do not think of you as her father."

Quinton got in and reached in the back to put his guns in the floor bored so he could thake them home and clean them. He had war ribbons and medals in the back along with several different uniforms. He started the car and got on the road, headed to down town, where all the fancy restaurants were located.
"Where do you wanna eat at?"


Damn.
But still, Drew couldnt change this because it was the truth, if he was the father Drew would not have done that. But Mike wasnt so he want he wanted really didnt matter.

Matt looked around the car. Wow that was a lot of medals, and guns.
"ANywhere's fine.." God, he was almost drooling just at the look of some of the places. He hadn't had a decent meal in forever.

"Mike, it's not that I don't think of you as her father... I can just tell she makes you unhappy."

Quinton grinned.
"Pick whichever you want, if your in the mood for a certain kind of food I might could recomend a place or two."
He didnt go out much unless he was courting someone.

"Drew, leave it. I dont feel like talking about it right now. The baby is fine."

"Um, somethnig Italian would be nice." He was Italian himself, some good ol' Italian food sounded real good.

"Mike, we can't just not talk about it. We are too young to have a child anyway." Drew sighed. "We have to deal with it."

Quinton grinned and plled into the parking lot of the balaboosta. It was nice, and very Italian themed, he had been to Italy and this was one of the places he ate at. He didn't know it was a chain until riding by here today.
He got out and opened the door for Matt.

"Drew, if you havent noticed, YOUNG went out the door when you were raped. I have never realy been able to be a kid, I have always had SOMETHING to worry about. We are getting married, we have out own home and now we have a baby, YOUNG does not apply to us anymore.

Matt smiled as he got out of the car. He'd never been made feel so... special. And he'd just met this man.

"Mike I don't want to make you grow up so fast..." Drew sighed. He had always shown so much disgust at those shows on television that revolved around teen girls with children. And now he was ashamed of himself. What must everyone think of him?

Quinton opened the door for him and talked to the people up front. Soon there were seated and handed there menues. Quinton scaned his quickly and found what he like. The prices were high, as always, but he didnt care, he had the money and it wasnt like he was using it on something else. He had just met this man and already he wanted him to feel special.

Mike snorted.
"Your not Drew. I have never been able to be a kid, not with my family."
He bit the inside of his cheek. He knew how Drew was just as Drew knew him. He knew Drew was ashamed of being a teenaged mother but he couldnt help it, it was not his choice.

Matt scanned the menu then looked up at Quinton.
"This place is way too expensive."

Drew's mother walked in the room, holding the child.
"Drew baby I gotta go home for the night." She bent down and kissed her son's cheekl, handing him the baby. She stood and kissed Mike's forehead.
"And they have the birth certificate done. They got her foot prints and everything. They just need a name. Well, I'll be back tomorrow." She said before walking out the door.

Quinton hummed and shook his head.
"Nah, you just pick what you want and ignore the prices. Its been a while since I have had something worth spending my money on so now that I have a reason I dont want you to pick the cheapest thing, whatever you like." He gave a sweet smile.

Mike pulled up and chair and sat down, he was tired and he didnt even finish working, he was always tired.
"What do you want to call her Drew?"

Matt refused to blush although he was so close to doing so. He ended up picking something pretty cheap anyways.

"I want you to name her Mike. I want you to be able to feel like you had a say in this." Drew said.
