This Is Why...

Alex had just gotten out from an awesome party. And he was totally wasted. Mike hadn't wanted to come with him tonight. Mike was his the designated driver of the two though so Alex still had to drive himself home anyways.
He was driving rather wrecklessly. Forgetting to turn on his turn signal, cutting peoople off, swerving and it wasn't long before the sirens were heard and flashing lights went off behind him. Alex cursed and pulled over. A police officer walked over and knocked on his window.
"Sir, have you been drinking this evening?" He asked when Alex rolled down the window.
Alex burst into hysterics.
"Sir, I don't think you have any reason to be laughing."
"You sound like the DUI commercials!" Alex barely got out through the laughter.
The officer pursed his lips and waited for Alex's giggle fit to end.
"Sir, are you drunk?"
"No, what would make you say that?" Alex asked, it was followed by another miniature fit of giggles.
"Then you won't mind taking a sobriety test now would you?"
"Now, officer, I don't really think that's necessary."
They continued to argue about the sobriety test until the officer concluded Alex was drunk. Or else he would have agreed to take the test.
They took Alex to the local prison in Tampa Bay, Florida and he was put in a cell with two other men.

Mike was pissed as hell when he was woke up at some odd hour in the morning because Alex's stupid ass had gone off and gotten drunk at some party. What's worse was the fucker actually got behind the wheel! Mike did not like that, he was putting himself and other people in danger. He let out a frustrated growl as he got out of bed and got dressed to go the the fucking police station.

Alex didn't like this place. His cellmates were about twelve times his size. Alex was curled up on the lower bunk bed. He was tired but didn't dare sleep. No telling what was going through the other men's minds. Mike had to be coming for him... right?

Mike was trying not to speed as he drove to the station. His hair was matted down on his head, his clothes were ruffled, he was tried, but somehow wide awake. He got to the station within an hour and thirty minutes, he got out and then he had to go sign papers and talk a bout Alex's bond.

Alex was trying not to hyperventilate, or cry but it was difficult. He had to go to the bathroom. Badly. There was only the small, metal toilet in the corner. And no way was he going in front of the other men. He'd rather piss his pants.

Mike paid the fucking 500 dollar bail for his friend and waited a while before the started walking him back to see Alex.

Alex couldn't hold it any longer. He reluctantly stood and walked to the toilet. The second he dropped his pants, like he had expected one of the other men stood. Alex watched him from the corner of his eye but soon he was grabbed by the waist without warning.
"What's a pretty boy like you doin' in a place like this?" The man whispered.
"G-get off me." Alex hissed nervously.
The man laughed and threw him to the ground, stradling his back.
"Now, it's been a long time since I seen someone so sexy." He smirked as he grabbed one of Alex's exposed ass cheeks.
He shucked off his own torn up pants and without preparation he shoved into Alex's tight heat.
Alex screamed in pain but the guards paid him no mind.

About then was when Mike came around the corned and flipped his fucking lid. The guard he was with quickly unlocked the cell and when he did Mike threw the opened bars away and punched the man on Alex as hard as he could. The man stumbled back and hit his head with a sickening crack. Mike straddled his waist and began raining punches down on his, his goal to breath the fuckers nose and whatever else that was breakable on the man's face. They had to call five guards to pull him off the man.

Alex quickly pulled his pants up and stood, wiping away a few stray tears. He refused to seem this weak. The man hadn't done much damage. Mike had stopped him before he started moving but Alex had been penetrated and it still fucking hurt like hell.

They took Alex out and then took Mike to be calmed down in one of their interrogation rooms because he was having a fit. Hoe dare that man lay hands on HIS Alex, his friend, hos apprentice.

Alex was free to go. He walked outside and waited, leaning against one of the cool brick walls for support. His breathing was still shallow, he had just almost been raped.

Mike came out close to twenty minutes later, still pissed. He walked up to Alex and popped him in the back of the head.
"You drove drunk dumbass! And look what would have happened if I hadn't gotten here in time!" Mike seethed.

"Sorry..." Alex murmured, looking down, ashamed. Alex would have done the same for Mike. He would have saved his mentor from being raped. But why did Mike care so much? Why did he get, almost angry it seemed?

Mike's face was twisted as he continued to yell and stomp around, his jaw clenched when he wasn't speaking.
"What in the fuck where you thinking! What if he hurt you? What if he had a disease? Alex damnit!" Mike couldn't help it, he had been scared shitless of what could have happened to his apprentice.

"He did hurt me." Alex pointed out. "And who cares? I'll deal Mike. It wasn't you who he was after so why are you so upset?"

"Because he fucking hurt you!" Mike exclaimed at his friend.
"He fucking had you crying in there!" It pissed Mike off just thinking about it.

Alex lowered his head.
"I wasn't crying..." He lied.

"Alex don't you fucking lie to me! I seen you, no one else was looking hard enough but I was!" Mike was only inches from his face as he hissed at his former rookie.

"Fine, I was. Wouldn't you cry if someone was taking your virginity?!" He snapped. "Why do you care so much anyways!?"

"Alex damnit, I was worried about you. That's why im making a point so don't you fucking snap at me." Mike hissed through gritted teeth. He avoided the other question.

"Why do you give a shit if he raped me or not?" He asked.

"Just get in the fucking car Alex."
Why did Mike care so much?
Because Alex was his friend.
He was his former rookie.
He was his apprentice.
But Mike wanted him to be so much more.

"I'll get in the car when you answer the question." Alex folded his arms.

"I will have them put you back in that damn cell if you don't come your ass on." He wouldn't but he could.

Alex narrowed his eyes.
"No you won't. Because then he'd finish what he started and for some reason that upsets you..."
