This Is Why...

"Mikey, cmonnnnn." Alex whined. He had an idea. He got on his knees and crawled to the edge of his seat. HE leaned over and rested his head on Mike's shoulder.
"Mikey tell me." He pouted.

Mike sucked in a breath and tried to focus on the road. God knows what Alex would think if he knew the truth.
"Alex, move before I wreck."

"Mikey, I'll leave you alone. Just tell me." Alex paused before placing butterfly kisses on Mike's cheek and neck.

"That's what im afraid of...." Mike muttered as he belly flip flopped at Alex's lips on his skin.

Alex was getting somewhere. He could tell.
"Mikey, please." He whispered. He was so close to getting Mike to crack.
"What are you afraid of?"

Mike clenched his jaw.
"You being freaked out and refusing to talk to me anymore...."

"Mikey, I don't care what it is, I just want to know. ANd I promise, right now, I'm telling you. I will not stop talking to you." He said softly in Mike's ear.

Mike shivered as his eyes stung.
This was it.
"I-I love you Alex...."
There he said it.

A small smile took over Alex's features. He'd suspected Mike liked him as more than just a friends, but actually hearing the words...
"Pull over." He said softly.

Mike let out a small whimper and closed his eyes as he pulled over the vehicle, he closed his eyes as the tears fell.
Alex wouldn't even stay with him until they were back to the hotel......

But that wasn't what Alex wanted. He crawled over when they were stopped so he was on Mike's lap. He cupped Mike's face in his hands and kissed him.

Mike gasp into his kiss, his eyes soon closed as he hands rested on Alex's shoulder's. He slowly melted into the kiss.

"You douche, I'm not leaving!" He laughed as he pulled away and kissed Mike's forehead.

"Well.....You said pull over so I didnt know what else you would have wanted...? Mike rested his head on Alex's chest.

"I couldn't wait any longer to do this." He kissed Mike softly again.

Mike beamed at him as he brought a hand up to touch his lips.
"See, now you know.....I should have killed that man."
Mike grumbled and pouted as he did so.

Alex gave a soft smile.
"It's alright Mike. Ya did what you could."

Mike looked down momentarily.
"Did he tear you or anything?"

"I don't know." Alex frowned. "It hurts. But you stopped him before he really started.."

Mike heaved a sigh of relief and hugged Alex tightly.
"Thank God."

Alex gave a small smile as he hugged his mentor.
"I don't think I have any tears. But I'll check when we get back to the hotel." He kissed Mike's cheek.

Mike nodded, now he was eager to get back so Alex could be properly taken care of.

Alex crawled back over to his seat and placed a hand on Mike's knee as they went back to the hotel.

Mike drove them back in a hurry. Once the pulled up to the parking lot he got as close as he could to the room so Alex wouldn't have to walk much. He parked the car and got out, waiting for Alex.

Alex got out of the car. He found it slightly painful to walk but he smiled at Mike anyways.
