Meant to be

Rayner closed the car door before taking a good look at the school. It was a nice school that had a good reputation.

Jay sighed as they walk into the school, he was nervous about the meeting.

Rayner took Jays hand in his own, giving it a small squeeze before opening the classroom door.

The teacher looked up as they entered the room "Your Daniel Reso's parents right?" she asked. Jay nodded "yes we are."

"Hello Miss. I'm Rayner and this is Jay. It came to our attention that Daiel has been having trouble at school. Rayner said as he took a seat.

Jay sat next to Rayner "We resently have found out that our son is being bullied." The teacher just looked at them "About what?" she asked.

"About the fact that he doesn't have a mother and that he has two dads" Rayner said to the teacher.

The teacher sighed and looked at them as if to say 'what do you think i can do?'. Jay looked at Rayner, he didn't like this teacher

Rayner cocked a black eyebrow. "Well we don't like it that your students tell our son that his parents are faggots and then bully him about it. Maybe you should teach some tolerance to your children to show them that everyone is equal, no matter what their sexual orientation is" Rayner said, anger clearly building in his voice.

The teacher sighed "And how do you what us to do that, even if we wanted to it would be inpossable. Jay growled softly but didn't say anything, he was too angry.

"Easy, just tell your students that nothing is wrong with being gay and tell those children off for bullying our son" Rayner spat, venom dripping from every word.

The teacher sighed "The students will be repramend for bullying but as for telling the students being gay is alright, i don't agree with that."

"And WHAT do you mean by THAT" Rayner snarled, clenching his fists.

"I don't think that two men should be together."said the teacher. Jay growled and stood up "Rayner we're leaving." said Jay angerily.

"WELL, then maybe our son should be in a more accepting school" Rayner growled as he took Jays hand and stormed out the door. Once they made it to the car park, Rayner burst into tears.

Jay pulled Rayner into a hug "Shh its going to be ok." he said as he rubbed Rayner's back soothingly.

"What are we going to do. I don't want my son in such an intolerant school" He sobbed.

"There's a few more schools we can try." said Jay, he wasn't sure if they would be the same way.

Rayner wiped his tears away. "No wonder why he wouldn't tell us how his days went"

Jay nodded, Daniel had never talked about school "I'll start looking at schools when we get home."

"Thank you" Rayner said as he buried his head into Jays shoulder. He cracked his back slightly.

Jay sighed and they drove home, when they got home Jay asked "Who's going to tell Daniel you or me?"

"Oh god you'll have to" Rayner fretted. He started to wring his hands together.

"Rayner calm down, i'll tell him." said Jay softly.

Rayner nodded and sat down on the couch. He crossed his legs, then un crossed them, then crossed them again.
