"Try ICU at hells pass hospital." Brian spoke up as he stepped into the room.

"You better fucking hope he's not in there for the reason I'm thinking. Because if he is, you are a DEAD MAN." Husky growled as he stormed out of the room.

Kofi rolled his eyes at the fat man. Only thing he feared was Husky sitting on him.

Husky arrived at the hospital quickly and sure enough Joe was in ICU.
He eventually persuaded the nurse to give him the room number and he walked up to the room.

Joe was just laying there, his good eye shut even though he was awake. He just so fucking bad.

Husky gasped at the state Joe was in. Oh, Kofi was DEAD. No excuses this time. No being talked out of it.
"J-joe?"

Joe cracked his one good eye open and let it find Husky. He could really move his head or anything, his jaw was bad, he could speak only a little and with a slur. "Windham....."

Husky wanted to start bawling at the sight of Joe like that...
"Joe, he did this to you?" It was more of a statement than a question.

"I tried...to leave..him...for you...."
He let his good eye slip shut, he was so tired.

Husky sighed.
"I don't care if it's for me or whoever but you are leaving him. As soon as you're out of here. I will kill him if he tries to hurt you."

Joe sighed.
"Can I.....Can I come stay with you?" He asked quietly.

"Of course you can!" Husky exclaimed. "Didn't think you'd even have to ask."

Joe held out his hand for Husky to hold.
"I'm late...I tried to leave just the week after having Bree and...I couldn't, he threatened to kill me....Well I said I was leaving, Im not dead so...Im doing good."

"This has been going on for two years?" Husky gasped.

"Yeah...How did you find out about this....Im glad you did but who told me hero what was happening?"

"Brianna. I owe her a big thank you." He kissed Joe's forehead gently, being sure not to hurt him.

"Shit....She knows about this..." Joe sighed as he squeezed his good eye shut. "Is my baby okay?"

"She's fine. And I don't think she knows. She just told me what she heard and I put the pieces together."

Joe let out a sigh and rested against his pillows.
"Husky.....I wish you would have found our sooner...."

"Y'know there's this magical device called a cell phone. Any sane person would have texted and told me." Husky sighed.

"He broke my phone against the wall....." Joe sighed and took Husky's hand, holding it against his marred cheek.

Husky sighed.
"I still love you." He looked down at Joe.

"Well then grate....I love you too Windham....Maybe when I get out of here, if you have room, Brianna wont have too go back and forth week to week."

Husky nodded.
"Hopefully..." It'd be nice, spending time with Joe again.

"Husky....I dunno when they are letting me leave. Its pretty bad.." Joe sighed and looked up at Husky with a large pained eye.
