"I can see that." Husky shook his head sadly. The more he looked, the angrier he got and the more punishment Kofi would receive.

"I guess you need to get back to our baby....."
He didn't wanna be alone but Husky needed time with his baby.

"I do. But I can't leave you here. She's fine with Tristan." Husky smiled.

Joe wanted to smile back but he couldn't with his lip and his jaw the way they were. He was in so much pain.

"So, anything happen besides this?" He gestured to Joe's bruised and battered body.

"Like what?"
Joe wasn't sure exactly what Husky meant by that.

"Anything. Like anything been going on other than Kofi being an ass? I have some news. Tristan has only slept with one guy in the past year." Husky chuckled. "He's dating Dolph."

"No. Well me and Brian have been getting alone really good but other than that no...."

Husky sighed.
"Poor Joe..." He frowned. His life had been a living hell for the past two years..

Yes it had been. The only thing that made his life worth living was Brianna. Other than that he had nothing, Kofi beat on him every other day and he was never able to get out because of the bruises. And he baby had to see him like this. Joe's life was hell.

"I'm so sorry I didn't do anything." Husky apologized, holding his hand.

"You didn't know Windham...."
But how could he not have?

"I should have..." Husky sighed, dragging a hand across his face.

"Im alive....thats all that matters..." Joe sighed and brought a hand up to gently touch his neck.

"Barely..." Husky whispered. "You could have died and it would have been my fault."

"The docs did say something about me being beat to death but it is in no way your fault Husky. I should have done something, I should have either found a way or just let him end it. Last two years all I have had was Brianna, only thing that kept me going but I knew she had you...I would have saved myself so much pain."

"I'm glad you didn't let him end it. I just wish you could have found a way to tell me sooner." He sighed.

"I don't think there was one. I had no phone and I was rarely able to leave the room....and I was not messing with my baby, she don't need to know."

Husky nodded and sighed.
"I know. But the important thing is, Kofi will never touch you again."

"You gunna make sure of that? You going to protect me now Husky?" Joe would smile if he could.

"Forever. No one will hurt you ever again." Husky shook his head.

"For some reason....I want to believe you....Im just scared too." Joe sighed, his one eye looking up at Husky with love.

"You have a right to be scared. But believe it." Husky smiled.

"I really want to Windham....Go take care of our baby, I can be alone for a while, im not a baby."

"I'll be back in a bit." Husky sighed. He did miss Brianna like crazy already. He was so attached to his baby.
