Story Of The Year(Anyone)

Ted turned his head away.
"Nope, not unless you like-like me."

"Alright, I give in. I like like you." Alex smiled.

"Okay then." He leaned up and pressed his lips to Alex's in a sweet kiss.

Alex held him closer and took Ted's hands as they kissed.

Ted smiled into the kiss as he intertwined there fingers. Not thinking anything about someone walking in.

Alex's mother had brought up drinks for the boys. She gasped as she saw her son on top of another boy. She was so shocked she dropped the two drinkst to the ground.

Ted jumped and pushed Alex up.
"Uh-oh....."
Now he was scared.

Alex stared blankly at his mother. You could practically see steam coming from her ears. She grabbed Alex's wrist and drug him out in the hallway to talk.

Ted stared with wide eyes as he tried to follow, tripping and falling several times on bis shaky legs.

Alex saw Ted trying to come over but he frantically shook his head no. It would be better if Ted was not there.
He shut the door as his mother scolded him. There was yelling and screaming from both people. There were loud crashes and finally one sickening crack.
Alex stormed back in the room, clutching his jaw. His lip was bleeding and there was a large red handprint on his cheek..

Ted looked with wide horrified eyes as his friend came back. He scrambled to his feet so he could look at his face.
"I told you! Look what she did! Your hurt!" He was close to tears.

Alex wrapped his arms around Ted and kissed his forehead.
"I'm fine."

Ted jerked away.
"No your not! No more kissing me, not more holding me, not more cuddling, no more! Look at what she did! Your bleeding!" He was no longer close to crying, tears were already welling up in his dark blue eyes.

Alex walked back to the bed and sat down, tears weling up in his own eyes. That hurt more than anytihng his mother could have done.

"Alex, please....She hurt you! Because of me! I can't stay here! I can't!" Ted was pacing the room, tears coursing down his pink face.

"But if you leave, that means I got hurt for nothing." Alex whimpered. "And you leaving will hurt worse."

Ted pressed the palm of his hand into his eyes. He wanted to stop crying, he was just upset, he needed to calm down. He sniffled before letting his hands run through his hair, he turned to Alex and knelt down in front of him.
"You can't like-like me anymore....what is she sees? I can't let her hurt you like this....I like you to much to let her hurt you like this." He gently wiped the blood from his lip.

"I can't just stop liking you..." Alex frowned as he hugged Ted closer.

Ted pulled away.
"Stop it....You can't do that...stop...."
If he continued Ted would let him do it.

Alex trembled and whimpered as Ted pulled away. A few tears rolled down his cheeks.

Ted let out a high pitched whine.
"Don't cry! Shhh, don't cry..."

"I'd rather her hit me than you leave." Alex pouted, covering his eyes.

"I don't like her hitting you...."
Ted bit his lip and pulled Alex's hands away.

"And I don't like you leaving." Alex sighed. He pulled Ted on the bed beside him.

Ted shook his head and gently wiped away Alex's tears.
"Don't make me sing..."
