Story Of The Year(Anyone)

Alex smiled.
"Dinner should be almost ready. C'mon." He stood and took Ted's hand, leading him out of the park.

Ted blushed a dark pink as he held Alex's hand. It was getting late and he was scared of the dark.

After a bit of leading Ted, he slowed down his pace. He stopped and just walked beside Ted, still holding hands.

Ted grinned to him, he liked holding Alex's hand. He didnt mind the dark as long as Alex was there.

Alex smiled as he drew random designs on the palm of Ted's hand with his thumb. He always found that relaxing.

Ted gave a giddy laugh. "That tickles." He leaned his head on Alex's shoulder.

Alex grinned.
"Hm, does this tickle?" He tickled Ted's ribcage as his house came into sight.

Ted sqealed and jerked away from Alex. "Yes!" He was delighted.

Alex laughed as he took Ted's hand again and led him down the long winding walkway to his house. Alex walked in, pulling Ted along. The house didn't look like anything special from the outside but the inside was beautiful. The floor was smooth marble, which was perfect for sliding around in in your socks, according to Alex. There were five bedrooms. One for his mother and father, One for him, one for his sister, and one guest room. There was a kitchen, a large dining room, a living room, and so many bathrooms that he had lost count. And Alex's favorite part of the house, the large, twisting stairway in the center of the house that led up to all the bedrooms. He smiled at Ted as he smelled dinner cooking. He drug Ted into the kitchen where his mother was cooking.

Now Ted was way out of his comfort zone. He felt like he was imposing on his new friend and that was the last thing he wanted to do. He hung behind now as Alex drung him into the kitchen. He was nervous and in awe of the beautiful house. His bit his lip as he looked around the house, almost tripping over his own two feet at he followed his friend. "Alex....Im not so sure anymore.." He hugged his nap sack tightly.

"Too late now." Alex grinned. "Mom, this is Ted. He's sleeping over." Alex smiled at his mother.
"Oh, alright darling." She smiled warmly at her son and then Ted.

Ted blush brightly and lowered his head. He was shy, he didnt know these people and he was worried they would turn him in to the athorities.

But Alex's mom suspected nothing. She just assumed he was one of Alex's friends from school. And the nap sack was just his necessities for the night.
"Is Ted staying for dinner?" She asked, humming to herself as she cooked the pasta.
"Yes momma. Can we go up to my room until dinner is ready.?"
"Of course sweety. I'll send Mica to come get you when it's ready."
Mica was his sister. Alex nodded and zoomed out of the room, pulling Ted along.

Ted tried to keep up but Alex pulled him most of the way with him just tripping over his own two feet. "Alex....Your house is cool..." Ted tried to tell him as Alex drug him along.

Alex came to a stop at the bottom of the large staircase.
"Sorry." He blushed. "I haven't had a friend over in a while. I'm excited."

Ted panted but managed a smile. "Dont make me trip on the stairs and die." Ted asked as he leaned on the older child.

Alex smiled.
"Well, you go first then.. I'll follow." He said, gently nudging Ted towards the stairs.

Ted laughed as looked up the stairs. "Nah, ill race ya." He giggle as he started up the stairs.

"Cheater." Alex laughed as he zoomed up the stairs after Ted.

Ted just giggled as he got to the top of the stairs and tripped, falling face first on to the floor of the second story. He felt a sudden pain in his knee. He yelped in pain ad laid there, he cheek and his knee hurt.

Alex gasped and ran up the rest of the stairs. He knelt down by Ted's side.
"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.

Ted gave a small whine as he pushed himself up. His cheek was raw where he had slid on he marble floor, promising a small bruise and his knee was bleeding.

Alex frowned at him. He struggled to lift the younger boy. But eventually he had Ted safely in his arms. Ted wasn't very big for his age. He carried Ted to his room.

Ted hooked his arms around Alex's neck and rested his head on the older boys chest as he was carried.

Alex kicked open the door to his room and laid Ted down on the large bed. He sat beside him and stroked his hair.
