Fall For You

Mike rose a brow at him.
"I have not forgotten that you lied to me. Whats with the smile Drewbie?"

"The smile is because I had a good flashback this time." He grinned. "The day I met you."

Mike grinned cheekily.
"I remember that....."
That was one of the best days ever.

Drew sighed and the smile faded.
"Now the lie..."

Mike nodded and leaned back against the table.
"Yeah, you lied to me..."

"But I have a reason. It would just upset you. I wasn't doing anything wrong, so I figured it wouldn't matter. It would be easier if you didn't know."

"Drew I straight out asked you something and you lied to ME.....its not like lying to your momma or Paige, this is me. What if I needed you? I wouldnt know where to find you because you were at the school. Anything could happen and I wouldnt know what to do..........you lied to me."

"I know Mike. I know. I know it was a mistake now and I'm sorry. I just didn't want to upset you."

"Where did you go that would upset me so bad you would lie to me?" Mike wore a hard frown.

"I..." It was time. He had to tell him or lie again and risk pissing Mike off more. "I went to his grave." Drew looked away and pulled the paper out with the man's other information. He handed it to Mike.

Mike read though it.
"Telling him about his baby?"
He was upset but it didnt show, he couldnt let it show.

Drew bit his lip and nodded slowly.
"I'm sorry..." He whispered.

"He has a right to know about HIS child."
Mike faked a smile and kissed his cheek before brushing past him to step outside.
It was his child after, it wasn't Mike's.

"Mike, Paige is yours. In every way that matters to me, she is yours." Drew said, following his lover.

Mike wrapped an arm around him and leaned his head on Drew's shoulder.
He had not response.

"I'm sorry. And I won't go again if you don't want me to." He wouldn't mention the hand he had felt comforting him...

"No...you wanna talk to him and then take Paige and tell her who her daddy really is then okay. Bur dont lie and dont keep things from me. It that all you wanted to tell me?"

"Anything I WANT to tell you? Or anything I NEED to tell you?" Drew frowned.

"You need to tell me baby....."
Mike looked over at him sadly but he needed to know.

"Well, I started bawling. Worse than I have in a while. And I thought... I felt someone touching me, comforting me... but I could be imagining things."

Mike looked at him sharply.
"Well what if it wasnt your imagination. Then what was it?"

"I don't know... there was no one else around me so I really don't know."

Mike heaved a sigh but thought it best to just leave it where it was.
"Okay..."
He didnt know what to think.

"I love you baby..." Drew frowned. "I'm sorry for lying."

"I love you too Drewbie....just please dont do it anymore. I want you to be honest with me okay?"
