Fall For You

Mike was watching his lover with half lidded eyes. He reached out a hand and placed it on top of Drew's.
"Its okay....I wont leave you..."

Drew simply shook his head.
"Why?" He asked, voice splintering. "How could you do this?" The first tear fell.

Mike sighed and stared at the roof of the ambulance.
"Baby...I was trying to help. It might have been the wrong way to go about it but I was trying to help you...."

"I love you..." Drew whispered softly.

"I love you too, No, In love you more...and you know this baby." Mike smiled at his husband.

Drew gave a small half hearted smile as he trembled with fear.
If Mike was gone, he'd be all alone.
James could have his way with him every night if he wanted...

Mike sighed at his lover.
"I wont leave you...im fighting not to leave you. I wont fucking do it. But if I did I would make James stay the hell away."

Drew nodded, looking at his feet as he took Mike's hand.
He wanted to believe Mike. But in Drew's eyes, no one could stop James from getting exactly what he wanted. And for god only knows what reason, what James wanted was HIM.

Mike was determined to stop this. He watched horror fics, maybe he needed an exorcism, he had watched the exorcist. He had to get something done.

"You just, concentrate on not dying." Drew gave a half hearted, shaky laugh. But this was far from funny.

"Hey now, you dont tell me what to do, im the man." Mike grinned jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.

"And I'm the nagging wife so do what I say." Drew gave a small smile.

"Yes motherrrr."
Mike rested his eyes, a content smile on his face.
He loved Drew more than anything.

Drew grinned softly as he sat back and watched his husband. If he wasn't okay... Drwe might die from a broken heart.

Mike opened an eye to glare at a paramedic who had just removed his wedding ring and jarred his arm.

Drew also shot a look at them, but he didn't dare be too touchy. He knew some hospitals would not take gay patients and he didn't know where another hopital was.

Mike whined at them.
"Stop it, my arm hurts damnit."

Drew frowned, biting his lower lip to keep from kissing Mike anywhere.

The paramedics were NOT listening. They were kinda rough with him and it hurt like hell.

Drew hesitantly took Mike's hand, squeezing it gently.
"You alright?" He whispered.

"Sure Drew....Im fine."
No he was NOT but he had to be fine for Drew.

"Don't lie to me." Drew shook his head.

"Im fine, really. They are just being a little rough and my arms hurt. Its my own damn fault."

"It is." Drew nodded with a small smile to show Mike he wasn't being rude. "But I don't want you hurting."

"Well you can't stop that, if you could I wouldn't hurt every single day because of God knows why." Mike rolled his eyes at himself.
