"Baby, I'm sure he does..." Rick shushed him, rubbing his back comfortingly.

"R-Rick...He wont e-ever love me like he d-does Sydney and Alex. N-Neither will you....Y-You wot ever love m-me like you do S-Sydney..."

"Baby.." Rick sighed. "I will love you as much as I love her. No, I dont. YET."

"And you n-not going to! And neither is he!"
Its his dad fault he was such a mess.

"Kev, I will love you that much. I just know it. Just calm down baby please." Rick cooed.

"I can't and it's all his fucking fault!" Kevin wailed before standing up and leaving the room to try and find his dirty clothes.

Rick frowned.
Yeah he was definitely going to have a talk with Alex.
He stood, dressed and followed Kevin.

Kevin was gather his clothes, wet an muddy from last night but he had nothing else to wear. He finally just sat on the floor with his clothes in his lap and let out a frustrated scream.

Rick walked to the closet and grabbed him an outfit.
"Here, you can wear that."

Kevin sighed and shook his head.
"Im sorry...."
He had never been such a baby.

"It's fine Kevin. I'd cry too." He cooed.

Kevin stood up and took the clothes.
"Thank you Rick."
He quickly pulled them on and simply stood there, staring into space.

"C'mere baby." He pulled Kevin into a tight hug.

"Rick, im sorry its just fucking me up. I am never good enough for him. No matter what I do..."

"It's alright Kev. I'd be bawling if it were me." He nodded. "And if he don't love you already, then he ain't worth all your effort."

"B-But he is my daddy! He is supposed to love me...I-Its not f-fair!"
It really wasn't.

"Baby boy, he does. I know he does Kev." Rick cooed softly, wiping the tears away with his thumb.

Kevin couldn't deny the flutter in his chest at the pet name. He would have grinned had he not been so upset.
"Whatever!"

Rick sighed and lifted Kevin, carrying him to the bed.
"I love you darlin."

Kevin just sniffled and cuddled up to Rick.
"I love you too....And I fucking love stupid ass too."

"I'm sure stupid ass loves you too." He chuckled softly.

"Fuck em' I dont care anymore!"
But he did and they both knew it, if not he wouldnt be so heartbroken.

Rick sighed but decided to leave it. He simply held Kevin, cooing sweet nothings in his ear.

Kevin stayed there with Rick for a while, for a few weeks if not more.

Rick was currently holding Kevin as there was a knock on the door.
"Be right back baby." He said softly as he stood to get it.
