Somewhere With You

"L-love you..." He murmured softly as he hugged his lover.

"Love you more." Mike rested his chin atop Alex's head as he held him. Kevin had taken Rick's hand and tugged him over, not knowing if he should touch his parents right now. His daddy was crying and his mother.....he didn't know about his mother.

"I'm s-sorry Kevin." Alex took a deep breath and wiped his eyes once more.

"Alex, its fine. Kevin is okay...." Mike held Alex tighter but moved him to one arm so he could hold Kevin in the other. He pressed Kevin to his chest and close to his father so he could pull Rick into his arms with them. He held his three babies.

Alex wrapped an arm around Kevin and Mike.
"Alright, I'm done crying." He sniffled and smiled.

Kevin kissed his fathers cheek and stared at his mother.
"Open your eyes Momma....."
"No."

Alex stood and went to the bathroom. He sighed and scolded himself.
"You can't do that shit! You're the tough one damnit!"
Ever since being with Lane he had learned to be the weak one in the relationship...

Kevin went to the bathroom and knocked on the door.
"Daddy, momma wants you to come and let him comfort you. He was going to go get you but he cant see."

"One second baby boy. I'm fine by the way. All better now." He lied.

"'Daddy, get your ass out there and stop lying to me. Momma is not Lane and he is not Chris. He is not the man but he can be here for you if you let him. Your not only hurting yourself, but your hurting momma and that together is hurting the family."

Alex opened the door a crack.
"Kev baby I can't cry like that in front of you and momma. Just gimme a sec and I'll stop."

"Daddy....You need to stop keeping it all inside. Your going to get tired of it and your going to leave us. At least me and momma tried." Kevin's bottom lip trembled as he looked at his father with teary eyes.

"Baby..." Alex sighed. "I'll never leave you and momma okay? I promise. I swear on my life... well not on my life I guess cause I'm dead, but you get the point." He gave a small smile.

Kevin just shook his head and walked off. He passed Rick and his mother on his way out the door as fast as he could with his pregnant belly.

Alex cursed and followed him.
"KEvin, baby please. Stop." He sighed.

"No you fucking stop and leave me alone! So much for my fucking family! We will fall apart! Atleast momma is trying to help!" Kevin screamed as he stomped off.

"Baby we won't fall apart. Please don't make me cry agin. Come back and we'll talk about this."

Kevin stopped and took a deep breath, his teeth clenched.
"You have til the count of three to tell me something that will make me listen or im leaving. I wont sit and watch you and momma fall."

"Baby, me and momma aren't going to fall apart. I made that mistake once and I won't do it again. Baby, I'll do anything, just stay here please."

"You need to stop doing this, you can't be that strong. You need help too and Momma is trying. He is acting weird and this is not helping. You need to stop trying to be unbreakable." Kevin turned too him, his face a bright red.

Alex sighed.
"Fine baby. Just please. Don't leave us. I know I'm not the best dad in the world. Far from it. But I love you and I'm sorry."

Kevin sighed and kissed his fathers cheek.
"You are the best daddy in the world, we have our problems but you are a damn good daddy. I have called another man papa and he...he is awesome but he is not like you, no one is like you. I love you." Kevin took his hand and began leading him back to the house.

Alex stopped and hugged his son.
"I love you so much baby. I'm sorry for everything.."

"Daddy, you don't really have anything to be sorry for." Kevin sighed, he was just pregnant and very emotional.

"For telling you I was ahppy you were never born. For crying. For upsetting you. For everything. I love you." He sighed.
